The question is: is it better than Jak 2. the answer is - if you thought the original Ratchett and Clank was better than the original Jak, then the answer still applies. I think it is a much better game. Jak and Daxter annoy the hell out of me, whereas I actually like Ratchett and Clank who make me think of what would happen if Sam Malone and Frasier from cheers were put in a game together (yes, that's a bad analogy.) But what you want to know is this - there are many great weapons, beautifully designed levels, great graphics and excellent game play. Unlike Jak 2 (traversing the city between missions is driving me nuts), R&T2 is just action and more action with no slow down between play. On the downside, it has a predictable plot and is not that much improved from the original. I know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but still ... oh, if you have an old saved game from the orginal R&T, DO NOT DELETE IT!!! Any gun you had in that game will be given to you free of charge if you have that saved file. A nice little bonus that I found an old memory card with a saved R&T on it. To be honest, I think this is the platform game going - action-packed, good puzzles and very addictive gameplay.

I am so excited about this game. When we first started seeing the TV commercials for it, I giggled and kept a mental note that I would want it.

It's fabulous! The characters and villins are nice to figure out. Challenges keep you attempting to increase your skill level, but without being impossible. The levels are so full of exciting things to do that I could go back and forth just finding things I missed for days. And the controls are really intuative and easy to get used to. Camera angles are handled really nicely, too.

I haven't played the first R&C, but I have enjoyed the first Jak and Daxter. If you like this, you'll probably enjoy the Spyro series too. I look forward to purchasing R&C and Jak 2 at the next possible chance!

Probably one of the best games out right now for PS2. My 6 year old son got this game from Santa at Christmas, and we can't stop playing it. We are now a little over half-way through the game, and are having the time of our lives. A very enjoyable game for kids and adults. I still don't know why it has a teen rating. Maybey only for the shooting, and many things blowing up. But there is no blood or gore or anything of that nature. A great game, and a fun game to play w/ your kids. RATCHET AND CLANK: GOING COMANDO is "The Bomb"! Buy it, you won't be dissapointed.

Suprisingly, RC2 has only taken a year to make, but the final result is a great and very enjoyable game, for both kids and adults. I do not wish to spoil the game for others so I am just going to say that the story takes off around six months after the defeat of Executive Chairman Drek.

The game's main formula has not been touched - then again, there was no need to change it because it was brilliant in the first game. However, OSme new elemnts come into play, such as rpg upgrades and gun upgrades. Thankfully, the platformer/ shooting style is still the core of the gameplay.There are quite a few new minigames to play e.g. WIpeout fusion stlye Hoverbike racing, Gladiator fighting and space shootouts.

Overall, the game is brilliant,and it will be a very close run thing to compare it to Jak 2.

this game looks so cool! i cant wait till it comes out! you can get armor,upgradeable weapons, and you can bring 5 weapons from the old game to the new game! and the person from long island this game isnt violent theres no blood,gore, or that stuff! and no cursing either, atleast not in the first one, so let your kids play it! well cant wait for it!

this game is real cool.Ratchet is a cat thingy and you r him in the game.the game gets boring when you already beatin it but is extemly fun when u didn't!

If you never had the first i strongly recomend getting it.The sequel is shockingly awesome insomniac really has done sweet job on all of there games so far.X play on techtv does not lie in both games you get to blow every little piece of s*** up.I am a HUGE fan of insomniac game and i strongly suggest you buy these two jems.

get the snacks and drinks and prepare for an obseesive all day all night party ps2 playathon. those of you looking for a really awesome platform game well here it is. rachet and clank going commando has beautifal enormus worlds and the advanced spectucular animations and detail we always wanted in a playstation two game. the illistruations are packed with depth and detail everything looks wonderful. like action here it is. going commando highlights 50 of the coolest looking weapons ever seen in a video game.. unbelivable guns wrenches blasters really cool stuff. and the bolts you collect are not silver as in the original now theyre gold. the 50 weapons you get dont automaticaly come with you but can be purchased at various stands after youve collected a certain amount of bolts. the game is challenging the music is high qaulity featuring a dramatic spacetacular sound. there are more weapons villans better scenery better graphics. it just has a better feel than the first rachet and clank game. plus additions like puzzles minigames and bonusrounds awesome game if you dont own it run out and get yourself a copy. its 1000000000000 times better than jak and daxter thats for sure.

This game is really good.This game has good graffics,graet structure, and is not to hard and not to easy.Igot it just today and I already love it.Their are some pretty cool moves and a lot of action.If your looking for a good game this is the one!

rachet and clank going commando is a roller coaster ride of a game. packing the same off the charts level of fun and exciting gameplay from the original and adding from there. going commando is the best games ever seen all rolled into one. theres some spyro sly cooper crash cbandicoot jak and daxter super mario and even a little dash of final fantasy in this superb action adventure game. excellent the graphics are solid polished and vissuaully outstanding. the animations are excellent featuring enormous georgus worlds with plenty of scenery and background detail. the music is outstanding. and the tasks are bigger more challenging and more fun than ever. rachet has unlimited weapons huge guns in his arsenal. and every off the charts gunshot is like an action film scenario. this is probally the greatest playstation2 game of all time but its very vieolont. if youre gonna buy this for a younger person you might wanna explain about how the vieolonce is not real with them first. as for all you people 13 and up get going commando now its excellent. heres a 1-10 rating on the game. graphics 9 gameplay 9 music 10 concept 9 overall 9
