Much Better Than the First

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. There is literally not a thing wrong with it. Ratchet and Clank (the first one) was a terrific game, however it didn't reach perfection because it has a few flaws, including its difficulty level (too easy) and the A.I. (too dumb). Also there weren't that many weapons and the the weapons were not too interesting. Also, the game itself was way too short.

However, Insomniac games was very smart in Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando by fixing ALL of the flaws in Ratchet and Clank and keeping all of the great elements the first one had to offer. The weapons are creative and interesting and are upgradeable. The game's difficulty level has increased perfectly from the first one and the A.I. is much smarter. This game will keep any gamer hooked and happy for hours on end. It has platform and action/adventure element, as well as a little RPG element all in one. If you're a platform or action/adventure, you'll love this game. If your neither, you'll love this game. It deserves no less and deserves all of its five out of five.

wow this game was unbelivable. to this point ive been an avid gamer and owner of a psone and thus far ive never seen antyhing like going commando. going commando is an excellent game that will rick the gaming world for a long time. if you dont own it yet get it heres why. sculping to near profection the graphics and challenges are heightened heavily. the worlds are bigger and the challenges greater. sometimes you felt stuck in rand c the original like you had nothing to do this game fixes that problem. in addition to the enormus boss challenges minigames puzzles and inportal challenges such as car races or clank games in addition to that theres plenty of obstacles in the game youll have to figure out therfore keeps you muvch more busy. aside from thatr theres special rocket shooting rounds side games you get to swing back and fourth on a rope heck you even get to enter a spacerace chaMPIONSHIP the bad guys inside the portals are drasticaly tougher and the game is also a lot longer it will take the hardcore gamer bout 3 days to complete. but for anyone else it mght take a couple of weeks. yes the game is hard but its not so hard that it will frustrate the heck out of you. even if youre not good at video games this is a recomended buy. the music is also quite better than rachet and clank and the characthers are more fun to talk to. and my god did i metion the weapons there unbelivable. going commando has 50 weapons and gagets altogheter and there much cooler than previous weapons you had. the guns are huge youll get acess to some wild guns plus other stuff like gagets the dynamo swingshot all in addition to your usuaul ax. and the more enemys you hit the bigger and stronger rachet will be. the locks you collect are gold so theyre worth more now and so many unlimited weapons. plus if you have a saved file for rachet and clank on your memory card you can assert all weapons you had in going commando and have them free of charge until you run out of ammo avcourse. then youll have to pay with your bolts. this is an all around excellent game maybe game of the year. perfect anybody that likes rachet and clank should definitly get this but id recomend it to any gamer. the vgame is off the charts you can swinghshot swim under water fight big beasts and huge bosses collect big weapons play minigames puzzles5 cparticipate in car races. brilliant game even if you didnt like the first one youll like this. its 10 times better than rachet and clank and 5 times better than jak ii.

I love this game!(...).I meen really this game is to cartoony to be violite.It just has a basic shoot the heck out of peaple.but theres no blood.when u beat somebody they just dissapear.So parents dont be afraid to buy this for your kid Ok.I garrenty they will love it.

The game is great, coontrols, gadgets, puzzles.... but the storyline is decidedly weaker than the original. Good game.

this game is worth every penny. its got giant weapons lovable characthers enthralling minigames hardcore gameplay fullpower ps2 graphics and an excellent soundtrack. buy it today its better than jak and daxter. and should be the first thing on every rachet and clank fans shopping list. go ahead and pick up a copy.

there could have never been the sequel. This game improves on pretty much everything the first game did right! Weapon upgrades, more things you can do in clank stages....etc etc etc. ok so it kinda is like the first game, but is there anything really wrong with that? I loved the first game and Going Commando is one that I can't even put down.

There r not enough words to discribe this game!!. i loved the first and i know that anybody else loved it will to. the weapons and gadjets make up the game like the zodiac, the bouncer, the hoverbomb gun and my favorite the RYNO 2. I have beaten the game 2 times and im still not bored of it. anyone who likes hardcore action, killing hundreds of enimies,(w/ not a drop of blood!)and sooooo much fun will enjoy this game as much as i did thats why u HAVE to buy this game!! i have read some other reveiws and they are right, ratchet and clank is the new mario exept beter! w/ mind blowing worlds, HUGE guns and awsome gadgets!Thank u Insomiac games!!!

What a game! Even better than the first one. The guns are bigger and better and you can upgrade them. Lots of little mini-games that are fun to play to earn bolts. The cut-scenes have adult humor but kids will love the cartoony value. The graphics are good and the music adds to the gaming experience. But for me it's all about playability. And this game is sooooooo incredibly playable. It's fun but still challenging. And there's even a cool surprise once you finally finish the game.

It picks up like it is the same game as Ratchet and Clank, you have the same moves, the same tools and a few new ones, even many of the wepons from your Ratchet and Clank 1 saved game cary over.

This new version has more of what made the first Ratchet & Clank so good, with lots of new extras.I'm a Mom of an 8 year old and the Ratchet & Clank games are my sons favorite. He loves the fact that he can earn bolts to buy new gadgets and go to new and different places. The storyline to this game is great and the characters are very entertaining. This game really makes you want to cheer for the good guy. This may not be the game for younger kids (3-6) because of the difficulty. But other kids will find it fun and challenging. This is a must have for anyones video game collection.
