Here we go again!!! Ratchet is back along with his robotic friend Clank!
I am very proud of owning the original and I am certain that the second one is going to be twice as good.

I haven't bought this game yet but it has 50 weapons in all some are upgradable based on a charater experience system. if you have a saved game from the first ratchet and clank you can transfer five of your weapons over. the story takes place about six month after drek's defeat. This proffesor blackmails ratchet and clank in to helping him recover his dangerous proto pet which is taken from the proffesor by a mystyerious figure

Ratchet and Clank has been the best game I have played for PS2 yet and believe me, I play alot of games. If you haven't played the first one yet, you have no idea what you are missing. I haven't heard anything about the upcomming sequel, but I will buy it the day it comes out because of its previous reputation.

this is the best game ever!it is twenty times better than the original and features 15 new weapons and gadgets!you can compare this to halo because this is teo times better than halo will ever be!!!

I thought number 1 was cool but since ratchet and clank 2 came out I could'nt take my eyes off the screen! I say you should buy this game It ROCKS!!

The original "Ratchet & Clank" was an astonishingly beautiful platformer, with superb graphics, qaulity sound, and brilliant gameplay. "Ratchet & Clank 2" is just as good, if not better than it's predocessor. Theres a whole new storyline, with 15 new weapons to use. Each level is twice as big as last time, with extra Maxi Games, such as the "Wipeout Fusion" style racer, and the chaotic gladiator arena. The game is easily worth every penny and should not be put down.

Is there going to be a part 3

If there is goin to be a part 3 then I am goin to buy it. BY the the cover looks cool. I like the weapons in part one. I really like the little robots that blow up on people. I always wanted the rhino. I heard that you can upgrade your weapons. I want to upgrade the rhino. This game is going to kick a** baby.

pretty much a rehash of the previous game -- not enough to do, not visually stimulating, and not all that impressive.

In todays age of gaming having games w/tons of blood, gore, guns and foul language, it's wonderful to have Insomniac Games make a game that, although rated a T, kids under the age of 10 can play. Yes, it has guns, but they're more the ACME sort from Looney Tunes compared to the realistic sounding guns in Jak II. And, you're shooting aliens/robots, not real people like in Jak II and other games. Ratchet and Clank 2 is bigger all the way around... more weapons/gadgets, bigger levels, more things to do than even the first Ratchet and Clank. I've played the first game COUNTLESS times and I know I will Ratchet and Clank 2. I highly recommend it as a game for the whole family and I have a 6 year old son who plays it too. I can let him play and not worry that he's going to want to go out and shoot someone. It's not the type of game to have to worry about what bad habit your child is going to pick up from it.
