This is the coolest game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You get so many weapons and the enemies are superdy duper cool. Thats right. SUPERDY DUPER COOL!!!! Get this game and play all day. It is so good that I quit my job and played it since it first came out. I have only beaten two planets but it rocks. I think it was a poor choice to quit my job though. I know live with my mom and that just isn't cool. I have a beer belly and a beard that goes to my waist but I play this game ten hours a day. Yeah baby!!!! Oh I am due for my back wax. Gotta go!

Ratchet and Clank is my favorite game series. It's right up there with Tekken, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Jak. There are two main reasons I love Ratchet and Clank. The first is the lush and beautifully animated worlds. You can tell the game designers really poured their hearts into creating a living, breathing, and fun environment to fire your awesome weapons. The foliage bounces around and everything just makes you feel satisfied inside. My second reason for why this game is a piece of greatness is the replay value. The idea to make the weapons upgradable was superb. Almost every weapon can be upgraded after use, modded, and upgraded again after buying the mega-weapon bar. It's a great game to pop in and play for an hour or so if you're bored. This game is just plain fun. Everything comes together perfectly creating a gaming nirvana that is Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando. My highest recommednations.

this game is awesome!!! i got the game a couple of years ago and i LOVE it!!! im a big ratchet and clank fan and i love this game. my dad bought this game for both of us to play and i instantly loved it. i've acually never played the first game but im planning on getting it very soon. i think this game is good for kids of ages 10 and up. anyone can really play ratchet and clank games. i highly recommend it!!! :D

Fun yet challenging

Unlike many game sequels, this one has improved. The only thing that really hasn't changed are the graphics. In this edition, you get a ton of new weapons and you can upgrade them at certain vendors. You even get to upgrade your ship by adding on shields, guns and other mods. What makes this game fun is that there are several mini games within the main game.
The one thing I don't like about this game is that you can't move forward onto different planets unless you complete all tasks on previous planets. For example, you must win a Hoverboard race before you're given a map for the next planet. I think this will be frustrating to many gamers and may cause some to pass on the game entirely. It was frustrating to me because this wasn't a requirement in the previous game.
Overall, I'd recommend picking up this game. It's a fun, relaxed game that you don't need to take seriously.

If you have played the original game you will know that Ratchet and Clank would have been a hard game to make a sequal that would end up being better than the last.Well, they have, and Insomniac scored again with Ratchet and Clank (Going Commando). A new set of weapons and enemies have done more than you think they would, but similar graphics and soundtrack have made this a bit like an add on pack, but don't get me wrong, the graphics and audio were more than satisfactory.I won't reveal too much, but your weapons system is bit more complex than before, and you will need to think about what weapons you will use at times, as some will be useless and some devastating when you pitch them against other foes.
All in all, I think "Going Commando" is great game that will prosper for years to come.And now I must bid you farewell,as I am needed by people who seek my wisdom and gaming power......

A New Definition of Platform Gaming

Imagine a platform game that had everything. I mean, everything. Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando is pure gaming bliss with everything you liked from the first one and more. There are dozens of new weapons this time around, along with some of the old ones. Among the new ones are the Mini-Nuke, Plasma Coil, Heavy Bouncer, and one of my favorites, the Kilonoid, a group of robots that fly around you and provide cover fire for those tough situations. Along with new ideas, Insomniac also got rid of the ones that weren't so good in the first version. Remember how frustrating it was trying to use quick select really fast? Now Quick Select pauses the game while you can take your time to choose your weapon. And remember how every single level had that same design of 2 or 3 branches from your ship's dock? Now there are new sphere worlds (Sphere city + Giant Clank = Fun) and desert levels that have you exploring vast wastelands for special itmes. The graphics are even better than the first game, although there are cases where the game barely slows down when you use 4 or 5 weapons at once. The sound is also perfect with the BGM playing funky orchestra/sci-fi funk and sound effects that portray each situation as it should. My only complaint is the rare control issues where you select one weapon but end up with another one. Very minor and very rare, though. So, for a good game that will give you at least 20 hours on your first playthrough, go for Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.

better than jak ii

this game is great its got loads of weapons awesome characthers wonderful eyepopping graphics excellent music and overwhelming challenges. chok full of action great fun enormus boss levelsa challenging highimpact kick you know what action. so creative you can use locks you find to purchase big weapons fight tough villans in the portals. a wide vareity of challenges minigames puzzles brainteezers bossrounds and awesome gagets. the music is very very good everything looks so sharp a heart attack full of action. and detailed beautifal graohics. anyone who says that jak ii is better has never beat more than 3 levels in this superipor game. a game with enormus challenging boss rounds and big huge wesapons is way cooler than a game with a mutated rat and a fuzzball jaking cars.

I thought number 1 was cool but since ratchet and clank 2 came out I could'nt take my eyes off the screen! I say you should buy this game It ROCKS!!

this is better then the last one better guns better levels, new costumes and not just one ever, (I think five) and the gadgets (my favorita gadget is the rocket boots). This game is the best game ive played in a wile.

Mom did a good job choosing but a strange games

Okay, so, at level 18. Mom did choose this game for me, and yes,
she chose good for Taz Wanted but this game is irrating, son of
a gun, Insomiac! can y'all lower the prices on RYNO II? and make
a rearrangement with this Ratchet and Clank II on when you have
a big bar of health, heck! it takes half it back and only when you get a health box, IT REPLACES ONE! THAT'S HALF BAKED! Jak I, II,and III is a good shot of progress but goodness! pick up Ratchet and Clank I, this is a little better than it's sequels but hey, Mom still did a good job!
