one of the best ps2 games ever made!!!

wow this game is great. it has every thing in it: shooting, gladiater fights, races, funny cutscenes, war like air plane battles, big guns, big enemies, lodes of fun, etc.
it also includes a meuseum, skill points for cool stuff, weapon upgrades, weapon mods, gadgets, wow i meen how much more can u ask for. the grafics are amazing the story line is cool, personally i higly recomend this game to any age gamer. and unlike other games out rite now this game u can actually not just kill an enemy but kill em with style. this game reely diserves 5 stars.

if you like the first game you will love this.This one has about maybey 39 weapons plus there alot easier to get.And you get alot more bolts.Example once I smashed a few boxes staked on each other and I got 9,000 bolts.Now Im not saying this game is easier than the original ratchet and clank trust me its alot harder but its easier to get from one planet to the other. Like in the first game im on planet gaspar.Anyways the graphics are about the same and the game is alot longer.GET THIS GAME.And for wondering moms this game should be E dont let the word weapon fool you.

One person said that the game was boring because you had to buy armor and that Jak and Daxter was much better. First of all, Jak and Daxter was a horrible game. The only way to kill enemies was twirling around like a friggin' ballerina. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather twirl around until your enemy passes out from laughing at you because you look like an idiot or would you like to turn them into a sheep? That's what I thought. Now that I have settled that dispute I can tell you that this is the best game I own. I put over 95 hours into playing the first game. No I'm not stupid. But I did get all the armor/ weapons in the first time around. I have just started to play the game over in cahllenge mode and it is even better. What with the cool weapons, awesome style of graphics, space fights, arena fights, hoverbike races, and hilarious cutscenes, this is the best game. Ever.

Old things can be fun

I know this game is "outdated" compared to the R&C games, but I have played all 4 games. Although Deadlocked is the best, this game is the best for the "budget" Christmas. The game is entertaining, although the game is very long and gets old, you can always trade it back at Gamestop or EB Games

Ratchet and Clank has been the best game I have played for PS2 yet and believe me, I play alot of games. If you haven't played the first one yet, you have no idea what you are missing. I haven't heard anything about the upcomming sequel, but I will buy it the day it comes out because of its previous reputation.

I got this one before playing the first so I can't compare the two. But Ratchet and Clank Going Commando blew me away. I love blowing stuff up and following the story line was great. I was really amazed that you need to go back to planets you've already been to. Unlike many games that once you did the mission you never go back.
There are many surprises and things to see. If I could request a weapon to be added, I'd like a lasso like in the Star Wars Bounty Hunter game. Not only would it be exciting to grab things and people (to bring closer and whack with the wrench). But I'd like to swing from buildings, similar to the swingshot but more capabilities. I think it would have been cool if in the Insomniac Museum they could have a "suggestion box" that when you get there you are given a special e-mail address to email the game creators. Or even when you send the email, you get a greeting card reply from Ratchet and Clank congratulating you on your mission. I'm now anxious to get the next Ratchet and Clank game. Very fun and hard to stop playing, Enjoy this new addicting game.

This game is awesome. Thier are so many neat weapons and gadgets.Some weapons are a lot of bolts but once you get them its worth the efort. I've been looking for a good adventure PS2 game and Ratchet & Clank is the best one thier is.You get all these cool weapons like the glove of doom, pyrocrator, and the devastator. This game is worth the every penny. If you want a good adventure game get Ratchet & Clank.

BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST PLATFORM GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jumping,flying,blowing stuff up,this platform game has it all!If you like guns and blowing up things,this is the game to buy.It is long,fairly difficult,and just plain fun!!!!!!!!!!

Not knowing much about this game, I judged it initially by its cover and thought this game may be for younger children. Boy was I wrong. It is the most well-designed, best-executed, and fun to play game that I had the pleasure to experience on PS2. The salesmen at the local Gamestop store were raving about this game, and I was very pleasantly surprised that this game EXCEEDED all of the hype. There are many good games out there that starts out great but ends up being a grim exercise in repetition, which the player just want to end by finishing it, e.g. "Champions of Norrath". This game mixes up the action and pace very nicely, and keeps your mind challenged as well as your fingers. Kudos for Insomniac for a truly outstanding product.

A MUST HAVE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ratchet and Clank is the BEST game I have ever played and has wonderful graphics. I definitely suggest buying it.
