Not up to my hubby's expectations...

My husband is a big gamer and is totally into the Call of Duty game series. I bought the game for him for Christmas. The graphics are great, he says it's an OK game, but wasn't really up to his complete expectations. He says there's nothing really new from COD2 except for weapons and rates it at 3 stars overall.

This is 1 of the best shooter games i ever played. The graphics are crazy and it is just intense game play through out the whole game. The almost like a completely different game it is very deep in game play.

New life has been breathed into the CoD series

This game is very refeshing and a nice change from the WWII theme of the series. Don't get me wrong, I love WWII games, but the genre is getting a little stale. This game is more than just a nice change of pace though, its revolutionary. Amazing storylines and action sequences leave you wanting more. I must admit I was disappointed when I beat the game in only 8 hours, but those 8 hours were amazing! Buy it NOW!

I have a new Vista PC that is 2 weeks old, and this game just hangs during install. I searched for 2 days for a fix with no luck.

Had to return.

Wouldn't load on my computer. You'd think since I have Call of Duty 3 it would work. Just another reason I rarely buy games anymore. They rush them out before working all the bugs out. Simply not worth the time you have to spend doing the maker's job debugging the games.

I could not load this onto my pCV...and I have a good PC. I would wait a while for patches to come out to fix the problems...should also cost less later on.

I play a load of computer games. I play games of every genre. This game is... simply put, one of the best games I've ever played. It is superior to all other games of the shooter genre. This game mashes concepts/idea from games such as BF2, Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon/ GH Advanced Warfighter, COD 1 and 2.

The single player campaign is great. But the real meat and potatoes is the multiplayer. The game utilizes a rank system like BF2/BF 2142 where kills net you points, completing objectives gives you points, and completing challenges give you points. It's a great system in itself and very entertaining, it gives you a goal to work towards instead of just mindlessly killing other players. It also doesn't seem to take very long to gain rank, making it a newbie friendly game in that aspect. In BF2 or 2142 it took ages to rank up, and they didn't really offer much else.

The graphics on this game are great. The game looks beautiful, when you are in a prone position in the grass and looking down your sights the view focus on the grass (or other point blank objects) will blur. Bullet holes everywhere if you spray an area. Guns are accurately modeled, with selectable camo for them. Boots on characters even look like real military style combat boots. They got everything right down to the little details. Even with the high end graphics, the loads times are phenomenally fast compared to things like BF2/2142, or even hellgate london with it's horrid graphics in comparison.

The multiplayer game play is fun. With lots of different game mods ranging from free for all, team death match, 2 types of capture and hold the area type games, and a search and destroy/bomb the target mode. With kill streaks you can call in UAV's, Air strikes, or even a guardian attack helicopter. Lots of weapons to choose from the M16/Ak 47 to the desert eagle pistol. The rank system rocks. Weapon mods rock. You also get to select combat perks that add to accuracy, give specialized equipment, give extra ammo, make your weapon fire faster etc etc etc. I've never played an online shooter and had this much fun.

The single player campaign is pretty cool too. The loading process is awesome, as it lets you watch a mission briefing/intro video while it loads.

This game was a lot of fun to play, I didn't play multiplayer(tried but had trouble joining in games)to new at it. I thought the game was quite short but very entertaining,after you unlock you can play each level on you own. There are great sniper weapons and some good shooting from planes.

Surprisingly fun!

I didn't think I'd see something new here, but there is so much added to the game play that makes you Re play it many times... single player and of course multi player. Being a BF1942,BF Vietnam and BF2 (battlefield series) and COD series veteran , I feel I have the authority to tell you, "what are you waiting for SOLDIER"
"Man up!!!, Buy this game" "and lets frag people!!!"
