This game is probably one of the best gaming expieriences I have ever had. The graphics are incredibly realistic, the people act according to what you do, and fighting is fun especially if you get good at counter attacking, which makes it very easy and gives you some nice cinematics. I know some people will disagree with that but I personally like feeling that I am unstoppable. I can see how some people can call it repetitive, since the entire game is basically 9 assassinations which are all the same format, and then one totally different part. But trust me the repetitaveness will not stand out as much as you think. There are a lot of different ways you can do things and besides the save citizen and view point stuff I never felt like I had done this before.

Assassin's Creed is a really fun game. i love everything about it. it's a must buy. go buy it. you will love it. im gonna make my first Assassion it's fun.

This game is one of the best I've played in a long time, amazing graphics, realistic AI, and being able to do anything at anytime. The assassination missions are great, you can plan your attack and strike at anytime, just like a real assassin. Also, you can hand scale almost any building and find unique ways to hide from guards. I was worried that it wouldn't be that great at first, but this game was awesome!
Easily the best game on the 360 yet!

With all the cookie cutter shooters out there these days, Assassin's Creed is a breath of fresh air. UbiSoft has simply created a masterpiece. Its obvious UbiSoft maxed out the 360's hardware. It nice to see a company finally utilize the full capabilities of a next gen console. Do yourself a favor and buy this game.

This game is one of the best, new games I've played this year. It has a very unique story and the replay value is pretty high with all the different ways to kill your target. But, they could've also made it a little bit harder.

Wow ! As soon as you start the game off things become interesting. I mean at first its boring. But once the tutorial is done then the fun begins. I'm actually still in the beginning because I'm having sooo much fun just jumping around. Probably one of my favorite games i own. I would say forget renting, just go straight to the store and buy it. This Game is off the hook. I even bought the game guide and art book. The Game is Absolutely phenomenal. And worth all the money. I spent my money i got for my birthday on this one game.

Well what can i say, amazon service was great but when i got this game and try it in my console it wont work. It says like version incompatiblity, well i check out amazon specs and didn't find anything that might prevent for not playing this game. if only i knew regarding region games that can only work in other region i wouldnt spend time and money buying this game at amazon.

i only got to play the game twice, after that it always froze on me. I couldn't even finish the game, i just got pissed off because i had to reset the module everytime it froze so i gave up on it.
All flash, no substance.

This game had so much promise, and I suppose it still does if you consider the sequel that I am sure is coming. The graphics are fantastic, although there is some pop in. There is a ton of detail in the textures and lighting. There really isn't much music in the game, or background sound for that matter. I have to give the game credit for at least trying to be historically accurate. The story line is alright, nothing special, it would have been way better if they didn't spoil the main plot twist in the first two minutes of the game. Although honestly, I would have preferred that they did away with all that science fiction stuff. Climbing and jumping looks and feels great, as well as sifting through crowds or blending in with monks. The combat, while many claim it to be intricate and detailed, just feels like button mashing to me. Some of your missions are pretty boring, while others are rather exciting. The voice acting is great, well except for Altaïr. His actor is very stiff sounding, and has an American accent despite coming from the middle east. I will say that I got more into the game the more I played, but being completely honest, i didn't have much fun with it.
