Like the Dreamcast itself, this game was an underappreciated gem that was ignored by many gamers for many reasons outside of Sega's and Smilebit's control. The game deserves its dues for the soundtrack and the overall look. Buy it now.

Wow... Playing like a hybrid Crazy Taxi/RPG/Parappa the Rapper, this game is as addictive and original as they come. If ever there was a reason to buy a Dreamcast this (and Samba de Amigo!) is it.

I've had the Dreamcast basically since launch now and I still feel that it is THE BEST SEGA SYSTEM SO FAR. It has the most original games with great quality and LOTS OF FUN. Jet Grind Radio is only 1 of my 25+ library of Sega Dreamcast games. Yeah, I've probably gone a little overboard with this system, but that's because it's great. I own Playstation, N64, SNES, NES, Gameboy, Game Gear, Nomad, Sega Genesis, 32X etc. and this is the BEST SYSTEM YET FOR GAME QUALITY.
Anyway, about Jet Grind Radio. It's a game that's a cross between TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER and CRAZY TAXI. It is loads of fun. It takes a farely long time to be beat the game and can be very addictive. There is a variety a characters to choose from and 4 secret characters that, once gotten, makes the whole experience worthwhile once again. If you don't understand what I'm saying just read this next line...
THE JET GRIND RADIO COMMERCIALS ON TV MAY NOT MAKE THE GAME LOOK GOOD IN YOUR OPINION, BUT IF EVERYTHING IS ALL PUT TOGETHER AND GRADED, THIS IS AN A+ GAME WITH LITTLE FLAWS.
LIKE SHENMUE, THIS IS ONE OF THE YEAR'S MOST DEFINITE MUST HAVES.

This is a great game for almost all ages the only thing really wrong with this game that makes it bad is the constant cursing of the police and and other people after you and I need help beating the first cube and combo level

this game is the game for gamers that love extream sports and cartoonish stuff this game looks fantastic and the game play is awsome. The JGR2 i heard they are going to make should deliver more action packed fun i still havent beat the game its pretty hard if it wasent as hard i give it 5 stars i needs a good 4 stars. if u like that stuff then get this game i get u mad at times but this is a good game SEGA!

Jet Grind Radio for dreamcast is one of the best rollerblading.....wait one of the best games ive ever played you get Rollerblades with Jets attached to them you get your own team and you collect more people for your team as the game continues on. You get Very good graphics that are amazing! You also get Police and Mean guys in black suits chasing you throughout the whole game but thats what makes it fun. But this game is truly a must buy!
