Hard, insanely hard

If I wanted to spend my time repetitiviely learning complex acrobatic wall-jump-grab climb- manouvers I would just take gymnastics and learn the real stuff. This game is difficult with extremely complex controls. It looks great though if you like repetition and can advance the plot.

sorry if this isnt a game reviw but I was browsing and I saw ur comment that PERSIA is the former iraq...

fantastic..I hope ur not a teacher or anything - maybe just a job that dont have to deal with countries locations...

Persia is the Formor IRAN ...and the capital is perspolis or SHIRAZ ( the wine )..then changed to Tehran...Iran was called persia just before WW2 when they decided they wanna change the name so it looks exactly like the Name of the country next door...well not really..but they changed it for an evil reason which I am not gonna say...

PLZ PLZ PLZ..if u dont know about something..dont give false information..either talk about the GAME...purely or search the net before u make a Histroy comment...

about the GAME.....havent played the first one but the last one( 3rd ) one is the best..sorry I am .not a big fan of prince of persia ...

Yes, in a nutshell, that is my problem with the game. I heard good things about it from reviewers, and did they ever dupe me. I can make it inside the castle to the point where the guy made up of dark flying crows is, then totally beat him up and take absolutely no damage. Then I can't jump up the wall, because you have to double jump more than once, and the camera whirls around on me and I just can't get the timing right.

So I got about twenty minutes into the game, and couldn't proceed. I heard from the online FAQs I read that the game has a bunch of glitches too, but I never made it far enough to hit those.

I can't double jump, the map is useless, I'm not impressed with the potty mouth Prince, and I don't like the camera or heavy metal music. The fighting part is easy. This is the only Prince of Persia game I have ever played, and I can only wonder if they somehow teach the timing better in earlier games in the series. This one was a big waste of time for me.

yawn.. this game blows.

if you're expecting a game like prince of persia: sands of time that's a puzzle-solving sort of game, look elsewhere! this game starts you right in the middle of combat. that wouldn't be a problem.. if the combat was fun. unfortunately, it's not. the controls don't feel good and it's not intuitive. 2 minutes into the game, you're fighting a boss. absolutely ridiculous. it seems they tried to put graphics over gameplay for this game. if you want a fighting game, just play something like devil may cry or ninja gaiden, not this.

This is just great potential wasted. The flaws lie in the outrageous difficulty (you try beating The Emperess), messed up controls (rolling the wrong way cos the camera moved, causing you a fatal accident) and the checkpints (you'll find yourself 40 mins back whenever you die, which is every few minutes). If you combine these the game does nothing but (...) constantly. There is absolutely nothing to enjoy here, because what is good is simply eclipsed by the hard nature and frustrating fights. The fight with The Emperess are really the points where you'll think "I just don't want to waste my time on this, (...)

this game sux major....... it is boring.....YAWN. fisrt off..... hevy metal music in a game about arabian stuff i laugh loud what a stupid thing to make. what awaste of money.

Up until the very ending, POP: WW was an outstanding addition to the POP legacy. Stunning visuals, detailed environments, amazingly fluid animations and lotsa eye candy nearly brought this to a five out of five. But when it comes to some parts the glitches will ruin it. For example, glitches will usually happen when you take a portal back or forward in time (usually just after you've done something important like defeated a boss. Go figure!). What sorts of glitches? Well the one I found just before i entered a part with the absolute final boss. I was eger to see how the Prince's latest adventure would end. So he pushes her through the portal and the scene ends and i'm playable again. Obviously i have to go after her through the portal. So I enter the portal. Nothing happens. I'm just standing there like a complete goober in this sand vortex thingy. I turn the Playstation off and start 'er up again. Same damn thing happens. Now I have to start a whole new freakin' game! I'm guessing that the glitches happen on a matter of luck. And apparently mines all gone at the moment. Don't let this fact drive you away, but jeez! How bad can your luck be? In the overall department, a 2/5 for me. Glitch testers, stop half-assing your jobs and do them right, damn it!!!

Tsk Tsk. Prince of Persia the Sands of Time as a wonderful game, full of fun things to do, a good plot line and other things. But THIS, this peice of crap is graphic and full of bad language. This is the kind of game society has morphed into. The gore, the voilence. This game is for little kids or losers who think that killing is funny. Theres no need for this type of a game.

I don't like POPWW as much as POPSOT. It's ok. I think they changed the entire game by focusing too much on the battle system (including a lot of blood).You still have the cool moves like running along the wall but this game reminds me of a shooter game. All fight and nothing else. The first one had a sense of humor, a good story, puzzles, a perfect amount of fighting and a fun side kick. Now you have this ugly obnoxious barely clothed woman that you have to fight through the game and it's really boring. Why do game developers always have to make drastic changes? POP Sands of Time was a great game. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm just sorry that I bought it. I should have rented it first.
