Prince of Persia the Sands of Time is probebly the best game of 03 and is still one of the best to this day. Warrior Within is probibly one of the stupidest games of 04 and 05. there are no challaging puzzles in this game, and if there are, they dont exciet you very much. The enemie AI is so stupid its not funny. THERE ARE SO MANY FREAKEN GLICHES THAT IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. 5 or 6 times i was in an sand monster trying to kill him, there are invisible walls everywhere, and the game you can beat in about 7-8 hours, not cool. Now you're thinking, now why believe this guy? Well I beat all 3 games about 25 TIMES, 25 TIMES, i would know. Instead buy the first game, rent the second game (unless die-hard fan), and buy the 3rd game. The Two Thrones you should pick up. Now go on and play the better game you peoples?!?!?!

Slow and lacking

This game is the best produced least fun game I have ever played. Trial and error puzzles are no fun. I could also not help but think they were lifting very heavily from Jak 2/3 in there "new" character design. Wow he is dark and edgy but still is slow and non responsive. The animations are nice and the visual are good it just comes down to the core game being completely repetitive and mundane. Also like the first one the game is extremely short with no replay value. Some of the game geeks really like this game but for most rent before you buy.

sorry if this isnt a game reviw but I was browsing and I saw ur comment that PERSIA is the former iraq...

fantastic..I hope ur not a teacher or anything - maybe just a job that dont have to deal with countries locations...

Persia is the Formor IRAN ...and the capital is perspolis or SHIRAZ ( the wine )..then changed to Tehran...Iran was called persia just before WW2 when they decided they wanna change the name so it looks exactly like the Name of the country next door...well not really..but they changed it for an evil reason which I am not gonna say...

PLZ PLZ PLZ..if u dont know about something..dont give false information..either talk about the GAME...purely or search the net before u make a Histroy comment...

about the GAME.....havent played the first one but the last one( 3rd ) one is the best..sorry I am .not a big fan of prince of persia ...

The Prince is Back and he's PISSED.

This is by far one of the coolest games you'll ever play. The gameplay and graphics are simply awesome. The music is lacking but the music they do have is really good. The actual character models are very detailed and realistic. The voice acting and sound aren't very good but there are captions which help alot. You will find yourself going through the same places a bit but with the past / present modes it's always different. Overall the game is very fun and will keep you playing for days.

Heavy metal music, and the perils of proper sentencing.

First off, if you find yourself unable to submit a review that actually consists of sentences, then please don't bother. Also, just to put to rest the moans of those who are averse to Warrior Within's musical stylings. Think about it for a minute, the music of the Sands of Time may have worked for that games setting but this isn't Persia anymore. Also, being pursued by some relentless demon god wouldn't quite have the same effect if those chases were supported by the same dreamy Arabian styled music. I'll also assume you haven't forgotten the music from the Prison sections of Sands of Time. My congratulations to Ubisoft for such a great game with an even cleverer storyline than the last game.

Fantastic Game so stop complaining

OK I have seen some pretty constant complaints about this game around here. Lets tackle them one by one.
Prince is rude/worse than old prince in SOT. Completely wrong. In SOT the prince was a pompous idiot who was untrusting of his lessers and overall not a great guy. In WW he is much more intelligent and experienced in life so he is a much more realistic character. He has to change his fate so logically he will become much less lovey dovey when every battle is between him and saving his life.
I don't like that the game has blood/naked women/swears: OK very simple solution here. Turn the blood off. It is an option so if you don't want the game to involve it just turn it off. I myself absolutely love the effect of the decapitations and eviserations and think that they are done in a way that it is quite amazing looking without being too grotesque. Second, there are no naked women. Shahdee (woman in black) does have that ass shot in the beginning but lets face it sex sells. It is not at all a huge thing in the game nor is it unrealistic. Persia is not known for it's women in jeans and a sweat shirt so you can only expect these kinds of outfits. Third, there are two swear words in the whole game and if that can turn you from a game you are way too picky anyway.
Too glitchy: Ya glitches suck and I got the end of the game one too but I enjoy this game enough and there is such variation that it can be played in that doing it all again is not tedious at all.
Boring: These people have no respect for true art and should just stop writing reviews.

Now that those are out of the way here are my compliments to the game
-Fighting system is complex enough that variation is easy but easy enough that once you memorize some good combos you can get some great kills
-Environments are the most realistic I have seen in a platform based puzzle game. In most game you have no feeling of realism as the areas are built so oddly to allow you to traverse them. In this game every ledge seems completely natural and you always get a feeling of immersion when playing
-Story is really great and has wonderful twists and realizations that will surprise you every time
-Gameplay is fast paced and strategic and once you start it is very hard to stop
playing.
-Graphics are top notch and cutscenes look astounding. The voice acting is also superb and the music is the adreniline you need to beat your foes.
So buy this game!

The prince once again makes his return in the fifth installment of the Prince Of Persia. This time the game features a much more complex storyline, leaving it quite thought provoking. The prince must journey & defeat fate to defy his preordained death. The game features alot more darker aspects in it than in the past POP games. The graphics are so mindblowing & crisp. The motion animation is absolutely unbelievable. This has been a game that I have been yearning for for quite some time now & i must say that it delivers on every level of excellance. Again the developers did not leave any detail left untouched, they submit so much attention to every detail, making the game more life like & appealing. The prince can do some gravity defying combat moves such as; run along the wall, jump up the ledges, sliding down banners & many more moves. Warrior Within includes a dual-wielding feature, which will allow the prince to execute special attack sequences. This game does feature an mature rating. If you loved Sands Of Time, then i highly recommend that you check out Warrior Within. PSM gave Warrior Within a 10 out of 10. I give it 2 thumbs up.

A smidgeon above mediocre

This game is just a tad above mediocre at best, and I'm personally shocked that some other reviewers award it higher merits. Are we talking about the same game here? The game play is redundant, the environments repeat over and over and over again, the combat consists of nothing more than slightly glorified button-mashing, and the story line really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Yeah, I'll admit that the graphics are okay, running along walls is a bit fun, and slicing demons in half is vaguely rewarding the first few times. But otherwise? All you have is a game that's just above the average. It could have been much much better.

First of all, I should say that the graphics in this game are really good. It looks like a CG movie, espically when you meet a middle boss, the graphics have entitled with a special effect.

However, the action and the Player control are sucks. Hard to control the player to fight the evils. Although it says there are a lot of fighting combo, it is still hard to activate those comboes.

For this game's graphics, I gave 3 stars.
