As a new owner of the Wii but having owned other Nintendo systems in the past, such as the original NES in the late 80's, I have to say this is another great Mario game. There are lots of galaxies to explore and it will provide hours and hours of gameplay with new bosses in each galaxy.
This is the perfect game for everyone

I can't believe the cleverness of this game - the worlds, the characters, the controls, and just the general gameplay are so well thought-out and implemented, it's astounding. I can seriously play this game for hours on end and not realize what happened to the time. The worlds never get old, and there is something new around every turn. Definitely worth the purchase.
The best platform game ever released. 11 out of 10 stars.

This is the best platformer ever made. It transcends even the wildest imaginations and hopes of any action/adventure gamer.
It takes everything great from Mario 64, improves upon it, utilizes the Wiimote, and changes what you think is possible in a game. Seriously.
Playing it for 10 minutes and you would put it in any top 10 list of games of all time. Playing it for more only solidifies its chance to be one of the most highly-rated and beloved games of all times.
As of my writing, it had just nudged Zelda: Ocarina of Time as the highest rated game of all time, from a site that gathers and averages ratings from all media sources.
1. Find and buy a Wii.
2. Buy Mario Galaxy.
3. Preorder Smash Brothers and Maro Kart.
4. Enjoy.
Fun game, few pointers that are bad, but good.

Almost everything is good about this game. They tried there best to make this. I mean, there is a second player help, but not very exciting to be, second, but they could've just NOT have a second player to help anytime. The music IS CHEERFUL and relates sort of to the 'THEME MUSIC' to Mario. The graphics, are very good and even a little relistic. The graphics are really pretty, and they show a lot of detail. This game IS THE BEST if you want to just play single, without anybody or someone who just wants to watch and help occaisonlly. The camera, though is ok, but in the game areas where you can 'dive' underwater, it's hard to move and the camera is not fitted well, and you CANNOT change the camera underwater. But this game is really good. AND AFTER YOU COLLECT EVERYTHING WITH MARIO, YOU CAN DO IT ALL AGAIN, FROM THE START WITH LUIGI AND STILL DO MARIO, LUIGI IS DIFFERENT THAN MARIO. I would classify this game not fiction, but science fiction. It has relistic views, like gravity even on a small ball/ planet and shows the 'light' in a disc shape. This game has a lot of fun things to do, I don't know when I'll be upset! (Unless when I complete Mario and Luigi). Plus this game has six files and it can be your Mii, so basically this game is very fun for alone/ alone w/ some help playing.

I bought this game for my family, and we've been hooked on it ever since. We have played it every day since getting it, determined to solve (win) the game, and there is so much to see and do in this game; so, it will take a while to solve it all. Graphics are great, the controls are used in a lot of different ways, everything is oriented in 3D, which proves very interesting in several parts of the game. One of the best Super Mario games I've ever played!

I just got my new wii about two weeks ago and wanted to really break it in with a really great game and what better choice then "Super Mario Galaxy" I must say this is the most fun edge of your seat game there is. As a child from the 80's I and Mario go way back and almost played ever single game he has been in. This one is probrobly one of the best games you could ever get for your system. The music can be pumping when it comes to certain enemy's I love a good dramatic soundtrack when your in the middle of battle and the grahics are out of this world(Pun Intended..LOL) The controls are simple and fun. I like a good game that is a little hard and a little easy it makes having fun with it even more great. This game is just that. "The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess" here I come!....
Awesome Game! Mario does not disappoint!

I bought for my 10 year old son and 9 year old nephew for Christmas. The boys LOVE this game and my 10 year old says it's the best Mario Game yet. He's an avid gamer and gets bored easily. So I wanted to put in a review since it passed his test!
Fun, unique game

This is one of the best titles to come out for the Wii so far. It's not the hardest game ever, but there are a lot of unique levels that are just plain fun to play. The hardest levels are the bonus levels, which I'm pretty sure you don't have to play in order to beat the game, making this a great game for all ages... at least 5-40 year olds; I've heard that people in retirement homes have been playing the Wii, and I could see them having difficulties controlling Mario when he's upside-down on the underside of a planet.
Fantastic

This is by far and large the best game on the Wii, and one of the , if not the best game I've ever played. I'll admit, the first few levels are nothing really special; but the magic of the game is that it continually gets better and harder.
The graphics are phenomenal for the Wii, and the music is top notch. There are countless times where I find myself getting lost in the music. They really use the space theme well as Mario has to go in all different directions and orientations. This can be disorienting at first, but you quickly get used to it.
I am an adult gamer, and this was truly surprising and rewarding.
Wow, just wow! This is what games should be!

After years of games with derivative gameplay, this game is a blast and joy to play. It takes a platformer, and turns it on its head! The game starts off easy, and gets a bit harder as you go along, but the learning curve isn't very steep. Some levels are like your normal 3D platformer, where you can die if you fall the edge into a black hole. The others, which I like more, are when you run around on little miniature planets.
The game is incredibly fun, providing a great mix of eye-candy, intuitive and fun gameplay, and a gentle learning curve! I HIGHLY recommend this game!
Whatever drugs the designers were on, I want some!
