Man,this is a great game! It took me about 3 months to get to world 8-1,but I am still working on it,or a little more that a YEAR! But it needs a Color Game Boy,because there is only a teensie bit of B&W. I highly reccomend it.
One packed game

OK, this is, without a doubt in my mind, THE BEST GameBoy game ever made (and probably will be for a long time). Even though I wasn't old enough when this game first came out to get nostalgic about it now, I still love the game. First of all, you start out with the ORIGINAL Super Mario Bros. game! That alone makes a great game. But in gets better. After you beat the classic game, you get another challenge, the original game, but harder (called star levels). The enemies are faster and easy ones are replaced with harder ones. But no, the geniuses at Nintendo didn't stop there. After you get a score of 300,000 you get to play "Super Mario Bros. for Super Players." This is actually the Japanese SMB 2, which was never released in the US until now. And there is TONS of other stuff to do as well: 2-player, challenges, and all the while earning extra features. This game also has the ultimate replay value. I've had it for six months I think and still play it 5 out of the 7 days of the week. This is a must have for any Mario or GameBoy freak (heck, who am I kidding, this is a must have for anyone with a pulse)!

Remember when you first got your Nintendo Entertainment system for christmas in the late 80's? Remember how awesome it felt moving moving the little fellow mario around on the screen, jumping over blocks and warping through pipes? Well, all of that action is back again on GBC! Not only does SMDeluxe offer the same graphics and sound for that "NES feel" of the original SMB, but it also offers other cool modes, like the totaly awesome link battle, in which two players (who both need to own the game and a GBC) go at in in a race to the flag! Shigeru Miyamoto (Marios Creator and also the Genius behind the Legend of Zelda series) has done wonders for the video game world with SMB. Why not see for youself? This is a totaly awesome game. Plus, if your really really good, you just might unlock some hidden suprises. You might say its like getting two games for the price of one...

This Game is Awesome, perfect for beginners and experts. I've found the graphics to be better than that of the original nintendo version, with dozens and dozens of levels, various ways to play them, 2 player mode, races, and a challenge mode in which you try to achieve a hi-score, find five red coins or find a hidden egg,in each level, all while achieving more levels, levels select, and even a song maker, this game has tons of hiddens things, a great title and menu screen and the colors and graphics are spectacular, definitly worth the price for hundreds of hours of game play!

Super Mario deluxe is one of the most addictive games for game boy. You can challenge a ghost to a race, print out banners, use Peach's fortune teller, and try to uncover the lost levels, and race a friend on a favorite level. You can always play the main game to, which is the most fun.
Great Game A+++ :)

This game is a must have for anyone who had a Nintendo. As someone who spent hours playing it on NES, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is identical to the original - including the locations of all of the hidden 1-ups, stars, and warps. It also has some nice extras, like the challenge mode where you choose a stage and have to try to find five red coins and reach a certain score. Challenge mode makes it a little more difficult for people who know the original inside out. This game is great for to anyone who liked Super Mario Bros., as well as anyone not familiar with the game. Super Mario Bros. was, and always will be a classic.
An instant classic

I love this game. Even though it isn't original, sidescrollers like this will always have a place in our hearts. If you have Mario Bros. for NES, compare them to the GBC game, GBC's graphics are better! It has an album which your pictures are stored in. There is a toy box where you can take a break from your adventure. The lost levels from SNES's Mario All Stars were included to anyone who can fight through the other worlds. Otherwise, the game is a copy of Super Mario Bros. It's an instant classic that everyone will enjoy. Buy it, you won't be dissipointed.
It is the best!
