I have a demo of this game from a mail in order of cheez-its. it is a VERY good game. In the demo You only had one little stretch of street. There was a lamp post and I jumped up and crouched on it. Then I shot a web-line at a guy, yanked him upward, dropped down off the post, and the guy was hanging upside down yellin "spiderman is a menace to society!" This game is the closest you will ever get to becoming a real super hero. You can run on walls and in the air you can do aieral backflips and spins. You have to aim your web lines a little but its not too hard. Anyone who has heard of spiderman should buy this game.

I am not just going to tell you how much i love the game but the details as well. First of all, it is a great game. one of the few cons is the graphics (especially of the cars) but i guess most of the work was focused on the character and his actions. the hand-to-hand controls are a bit clunky but managable. one of the many pros is simply how rewarding it is to scale a skyscrpaer and perch above the entire city and then..... dive off. it is a neat experience. anyway, have fun and keep on slingin spidey fans!!!

This game rocks from the music to the story lines to the controls I could not find one thing that bothered me. The tasks are interesting enough and if you are getting tired there are plenty of felons causing mischief which you can stop or just ignore and continue with your task at hand. You can interact with most objects int the game. You can ride on vehicles as they go through town. The only thing odd was because you can become very smooth at web swinging you can reach the unavailible areas fairly quick. The playable areas of the game are interesting and big enough. This game is worth every penny!!!!!

This game is highly advanced and has many different qualities such as It's graphics... This game does take a little while to load but still is worth it once you get the hang of the controls. This was no doubt a five star game if you liked the last one or you like an open space to test your gaming skills.

Im tell ya, this game is absolutly great. You get to do amazing web sling action that is almost life like. You can go on any building, car, flag pole, and more. You can go free fall diving of the "Statue Of Liberty". You can swing around a flag poll like you on a non stop flipping roller coaster.And one of my favorite things on the game is that you can have all the control when your slinging around N.Y.C.

Wait, is this a video game, or real-life?

In all my 4 years of gaming, I have never seen a better game. You now can run on the streets, and no more fake webbing. Exactly like real life graphics, and excellent gameplay. Mysterio, is a favorite of mine. He was in spiderman comics back 30 years ago. Shocker is a bit harder this time. But, truthfully, you won't spend 30 days trying to beeat it. It's AMAZING!

this game is the best! you can free roam almost very thing. but i still think this game could be better. the game is VERY easy. one thing, if you played the first game... the grafics in GAME PLAY seemded better. like if there was a movie, the game would look like that the whole time. not in this. the movies are much beter than in the first game. but the look of spider-man in game play sucks. first of all, he looks skinny. the spider on this chest look a little bit weird. it's only day time or night. IT NEVER RAINS OR SNOWs! the free roaming is very fun unlike the first game with swinging on air. the colors could be better. and there's one place you can't go...across a brigde. the mouths of the characters DON'T move in missions. but still, the new added fight combos are the BEST!!!!!DOC OCK is much better than the green goblin, he's harder to beat too. this is probably the BEST game for spider-man there ever was!

Buy it for the city-slingin'-action

It's amazing..

The story and acting is quite lame .. but its worth the money if you can get it for a few bucks.

It may be repetitive ( like most games ) but its worth the money

Spider-man 2 for the PS2 is awsome!!!!!!!!!! not only does it follow the movie story line but also includes a few other villians like mysterio Black Cat The Rhino and Dock Ock (of course). The game starts with you spider-man (duh) and the narriator guy is tellin you all the controlls what to do and not to do. The Web slinging is 100% better then the first game's. In the first spider-man game all you had to do was hold down a button and there you go, but in this game you can pull of all these tricks in the air and hold down the jump button so you can reach extreme hights! the combat as in fighting the bad guys is ok, not the best but you can pull of all these awsome moves like webbing the guy up to a street post. you also have a spider-sense which alows you to become in a slow motion type of style. you can pull off cooler moves and nail the bady's harder in spider-sense. thats really all i can think about...my advice is to BUY THIS GAME!!! you will get sick of it after like a couple of months but those coouple of months will be worth your money...

this is a really cool game. fighting all the bosses and doing the story mission was fun but when you complete the game there is basicaly nothing left to do than to start over. i would have liked some side missions or extra boss fights with new bosses. all in all i love this game.
