reptile is in this game along with all your favorites. Reptile, however is now the dragon king. if you think that none of the favs are there well they are be they secret or there when you turn the game on. a great game

This game be whack, yo! I is really lookin' forward to schoolin' some homeys up trick-wise! Increase the peace, yo! That be my motto! Mad props to the devs for addin' Mario and Luigi to the mix! I be chillin' like a villian when this game be showin' at da hood! Cuz I gots the mad skillz, yo!!! Mad skillz!!!

My mother got me this for a good report card. I was hyped, we went to best buy and got it. When I went home I rushed in to my room to my PS2. It was Baraka vs. Scorpion. I didn't mind that whenever you punched or kicked your opponent blood came out. It didn't matter to me. But once I beat Scorpion it got VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY gory. SPLAT. Now I know the meaning of MATURE 17+.

WELL, IT SEEMS AS THOUGH ANOTHER CLASSIC FIGHTING GAME OF MORTAL OMBAT IS COMING OUR WAY. I CANT SAY I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CAST OF THIS GAME... IN OTHER WORDS... THE CHARACTERS KINDA SUCK. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ALL THE CLASSIC MK CHARACTERS? SURE THE ADS WILL TRY AND TELL YOU THAT THE CLASSICS ARE BACK, BUT ALL THEY REALLY SAY IS BARAKA... OOOOOOOOH, BARAKA HOLY CRAP HES A FREAKING CLASSIC! WHOOPIE... ONE CLASSIC CHARACTER. IM DISAPPOINTED WITH IT. ANOTHER THING. WHO REMEMBERS THE 2D MK GAMES? I DO. THEY ROCKED HARD. MK DARK ALLIANCE SUCK REALLY BAD. IT JUST SUCKED. OTHER THAN ALL THAT... THE GAME SHOULD BE GREAT WITH THE KONQUEST MODE, PUZZLE FIGHT, AND CHESS KOMBAT (FOR ALL YOU LITTLE NERDS OUT THERE). I got this game for my kids who love these 'fighting games'. I play them with them occasionally, and I have to say that this one is probably the least impressive of most of the ones I've played. We also have Soul Caliber II, which is WAY BETTER graphics, controls, and all around fun. Get that one instead.

If you want to play online- you need a cable modem or dsl conection. Also-for someone who never experienced Mortal Kombat in video parlors and arcades in the 90s- buy this game and experience Mortal Kombat. If your like me and have a girlfriend and a car- someone who did MK during the 90s- this game is nothing more than a rental. I spent 50 hard earned dollars for the last game and it was terrible only 9 charactors.
Find something else to do for 50 bucks like gassing up your car for 5 weeks.

This game im really looking forward too i personally think it will be the best in the series but nobody is sure yet all i know and im sure the rest of you do is that each character will have 2 fatalities with alot of stage fatalities also. I can tell you this will be the most goriest of the mortal combat game which to me is great if your 21 like i am you will love it for somebody that is 13 your parents might have a few things to say about it lol...the stages will also be huge big difference from deadly alliance...besides stage fatalities and fatalities there are other ways to kill people midway really is keeping somethings to themseleves cause they like giving us surpises...all i can say is that deadly alliance could of been alot better but i personally think they are gonna give exactly what there fans want this time around.

I am gonna get this game. But I'm gonna wait till it becomes a greatest hit like the last one for PS2. This one should kick the previous one's A$$.

This part is for a reviewer a bit farther down (about four or five reviews down). He complains that in MK: Deadly Alliance, there were only 9 playable characters. He is wrong and a total dumba$$. You have to unlock the characters stupid. You do that in the Krypt. You need koins to open koffins, and each koffin has something different. Go to a cheat site and print out all the koffin kontents. Find the characters and there alternate costumes. That is what I did. What an idiot!!! Why would MK have only 9 playable characters?

I love this game more then anyone I know. The Fatalities are awesome! I like the one on Yin-Yang island when you push your opponent into the water and then they get eaten! Baraka and Kabal and Sub-Zero are my favorite playable characters. I have a question. Why would the people from DA were playable, and like Li Mei is an unlockable? I think it's dumb 'cause Tanya and Mei areweak. Scorpion is stronger then them and he's playable! It's just dumb. Baraka was the best! I thought he was better then Scorpion. I like the slaughter house level. I also like Dead pool and hell's foundry. Is it true that Rayden turns bad? Someone at my school said he did. Puzzle Kombat's cool. I like to play as Sub-Zero 'cause he's good. Chess Kombat is cool too. Baraka is my leader. Dairou is the sorcerer. Sub-Zero is the grunt. And Scorpion's the champion. When Baraka battled Kabal one time, I just kept doing the slice and dice combo. I hope MK 7 Shaolin Monks is better!
