Fun for all ages

If you like riddles and puzzles, then you will like this game. I got so addicted to playing, that I finished most of the game in about a week. Once you complete all the puzzles, there really is no point in going back to play the game. I completed all, but about five of the puzzles. This was fun for me and my husband to play and try to figure out together. My son (11 years old) had fun playing this game too, some of the puzzles are a little hard for kids. This is a 'pass it on' game or 'trade it in' game. I 'passed it on' to my mom (60 years old), she called me and told me that her and my dad are addicted! If you hate thinking too much, you WILL hate this game! I loved it! I hope that come out with another!

I bought this for my wife and her thoughts are the basis for this review. It's a challenging, thought provoking exercise that's appropriate for someone who's been out of school for awhile. The math problems are the high point. The game should have been longer, though a great feature is the ability to download updated puzzles from the internet.

I like games that challenge my mind. This game was perfect. Some easy puzzles some harder ones. Most of them just require you to think about what they are asking. Some require a paper and pencil. None require a calculator. I can't wait for the next installment. You can't go wrong with this game.

Great Puzzles, Great Game

This game is a must-buy for all puzzle and adventure game lovers! The puzzles are very well done and range from simple to mind-bending, depending on your forte. Are you good at reading between the lines? At math, logic, picture puzzles, etc? There's puzzles for everyone all packed into this game. And it doesn't get tiring for a second, as the puzzles all serve an integral part in furthering the storyline. There are even hidden puzzles to find- how cool is that?

All in all, I found this game to be a great way to pass the time, and an excellent excuse to stay up late just to finally beat that one tricky puzzle. The only problem is that it has little replay value. After a while, though, you might feel like going back and playing your favorite puzzles over again once sufficient time has passed to wipe the solutions from your mind. Don't hesitate to pick this game up!

If you're a fan of puzzles, this is one of the best games out there. The variety of the puzzles, and the way they're sprinkled throughout the storyline (which is strange, but very good), makes this a welcome challenge for the brain. Overall good fun, and won't rot your brain!

I absolutely fell in love with this game after i got hooked on with the first puzzle! The game takes you through various puzzles with difficulty levels specific for what level you are on, and the hints help to not make the game frustrating. This is the first game I bought on the DS, and I chose this over Brain Age. The reason I chose this was because there was a sense of purpose and adventure in solving the puzzles. Have fun!

Very fun!!!

I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes to solve puzzles. I'm an adult who recently got a DS Lite, and could not find fun games that were intended for an adult audience. This game is cute, engaging and challenges you to think about various puzzles (not in a boring, "brain-age 2" kind of way).

Excellent--fun and educational

I really enjoyed this game. I hope they release the other Professor Layton games to the US. I think I spent 18 hours playing and it was so addictive. Well worth the money spent.
