the truth

Okay...so the cover doesn't look very good, but the game is great. You know what they say...Never judge a book by it's cover! Same with DS covers. If you're under 10, it might be a little hard for you. You definitely need to be able to read pretty well. And you definitely need good penmanship so the game recognizes what answers you are writing. It's not only fun, it's also educational...You never know which puzzle you are going to do next. You can do it by yourself or you can have your family help you. It's challenging for parents, too! My advice...if you only have enough money to buy one DS game, get this! (I wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars.)

Disappointing. Mostly boring, repetitive, and slow paced.

At first this game seemed cool because I enjoy puzzles, however, there were too many boring puzzles that seemed repetitive. I found myself searching for action and adventure. It seems like the creators of this game made a template and filled in the blanks with hundreds of boring, slow, and repetitive puzzles. I wanted more.

Fun, but short

This game is fun, the puzzles range from easy to near impossible, but I solved the mystery in less than a week.

So much fun! But be careful.

This game is a blast. I bought it at Game Stop when it caught my eye. Theres puzzles galore to solve as you play the game. Easy and Hard ones. But the hard ones ain't so bad. Most of them have the answers right in the puzzle directions. However be careful, its very addicting. I can usually play and video game for 20 minutes before I get bored. This is one of those games I play a for a good 2 hours till I put it down. THen 30 minutes later I'm playing it again.

Must be a puzzle solver

This is a good game for the DS with the animation and puzzles. It's just if you are not good with math and word problems, then this game may not be up your alley. I like this game for its creativity. It uses a lot of puzzles that some may remember from grade school. I was never good at these type of puzzles, so it took some time to figure a lot of them out. My brother loves this game and can solve them pretty easily. I would recommend this game for those who love brain teasers. I love brain teasers, but I just found some of the puzzles to ridiculous to solve.

Highly Addictive, but short lived and not worth the price.

I found this game very addictive, so much so that I completed with in 24 hours of me receiving it. My total play time was less than 11 hours. Knowing what I know now, I would not have paid the price I paid. But I would love to see another game like this come out, but hopefully a little more challenging and less costly.

Fun for puzzle lovers

I really enjoyed playing the game and solving the puzzles along the way. My eight year old daughter started a game of her own, but needs a little help with a lot of the puzzles. I only wish there were several sets of puzzles, allowing a player to work their way through more than one round without repetition.

So many riddles so little puzzles

I haven't played the game all the way through, if I had to guess I'm 50-75% but I have to say, when I bought this game I figured it would be a lot of puzzles. Instead I've found it's comprised mostly of riddles. Riddles can be fun but it's really not what I was looking for.

Curious Village is curiously boring

I love role playing games and thought this one would be fun. When I first got it, I liked the puzzles but then they got repetitive and boring. I have completed over half the game and put it away. It got so if I didnt know the answer right away, I would guess until I got it right. The game is frustrating in that puzzles keep popping up slowly your progress. I do not recommend this game.

This game is great!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. If you like working puzzles, you'll love it. Sometimes I felt like it was a little tedious when I had to walk all the way to the other side of town, but only because I was so into solving the puzzles.
