I just beat the game (Well Niobie's portion anyway) and it is badass! There is so much going on in it that I recommend seeing
Reloaded before playing the game, so when you play it you go oh yeah I remember that! Plus you get to Jada Pinkett-Simth and Monica
Bellucci kiss! And for the record Reloaded way way better than
the Matrix! Can't wait for Revolutions and stick around after the credits of Reloaded.(hint,hint)

Die hard fans of Matrix

This is a game for the die hard fan of Matrix, it has part of the history that it's not in the movies and that is not in Animatrix. You can play as Ghost or Niobe, each character has it's own levels and ways of doing things. I like the game very much, and the thing is that i bought the game for 2 bucks used here at amazon. You can also play a hacking game, that i thought it was a little silly at first, but it gets interesting and you can spend hours figuring out what to do and what to write next.

Great game but i put 4 stars 'cause path of neo is a better game, but this one is very good also.

Amazing 3-d graphics and unbeleivable martial art action. Play as either Ghost or Niobe both belong to the ship of the Logos. You get different missions for the different players.

Pros- Action is awesome, Defie gravity by walking on walls, Expert on hacking,guns,explosives, martial arts,and driving.

Cons- SOME extreme violence, mild language, cheats are hard to use, hacking is near impossible, running looks weird, climbing looks even weirder.

idk wat to say this game was a little boring. They didnt have any good characters. they just let u play with ghost or nebula. Whats with that?

Althogh the movie was the great this game sucks overall. It is helpful for the background story to the movie, but that doesnt make up for the bad graphics, and easy missions. All of the missions only involve jumping from someplace to another and shooting a dumb cop every once in a while, and sometimes there will be an agent thrown in the game to shoot at you (but thier aim is way off). I have never expierenced any bugs while playing and I will admit that some of the fighting in bullet time looks good. But it is just another point to point, only one course to take game. The player is not able to walk around the missions freely and is stuck in the area it is set in to be. The game is not challenging at all. Most of the action is not anywhere near as cool as the movie. Just run around to the right direction kill some boring cops for about an hour and its over. Overal its not worth paying for this game even if it provides a background story and has a 10 second preview of the third movie.

Enter the Matrix is a nice and fun action game. I liked it better than Matrix Reloaded (that movie [was not good]). Here are some good things about this game:

Doing those focus moves are extremely cool, and they also help you out. Running on walls, flips, dives, dodges... it's all just awesome. Plus, not only is this a shooting game, it is a hand-to-hand combat martial arts game. Also, there is some non-animated footage that can help you understand Matrix Reloaded a bit better. There is even hacking in this game. There are also tons of weapons and guns, plus there is a trailer of Matrix Revolutions at the end of the game. Finally, it's just fun.

Even though this game is really fun, it is packed with glitches that drop this game's rating to 4 stars. Bad stuff:

This game's in-game graphics are possibly the worst I've ever seen on PS2, and this was a 2003 game! This game is also way too easy with no multiplayer, so hardly any replay value. The game is short, plus there is an arrow that tells you where to go. Also, there is a bit of swearing in this game, but who cares? Finally, there are tons of glitches. Once, I was fighting an agent, and I somehow kicked him and he got stuck in the wall. Another is that the music stopped playing, then enemies came and it went back. Then, the music kept repeating. The last glitch I found is that the game froze, I lost all my progress because I turned it off. I bet there are more glitches, because this game felt way too rushed.

Well, that's mainly all there is to say. Overall, don't buy this game. Instead, rent it. It is fun, and it is worth a look.

I bought this game right when it was released I was very excited when I popped the disc into my PS2 and the green numbers drizzled down the screen. I gave this game only four stars because of some annoying bugs, like when your watching the movies in between game play the dialogue has a wierd echo and is hard to understand. Also it froze a couple times but with some patients it was fine. Over all this is one of my favorite games ever. I love the fact you can dodge bullets and perform acrobatic moves in slow motion. Oh Ya after you beat the game with both characters you should try hacking it loads of fun, you should also pick up some codes to make your hacking excperience more fun. GO AND BUY THIS GAME!!!!!

I rented this game and when I played it I was like "holy ----- this game is awesome."

The best feature of the game has to be focus. When you use focus you can dodge bullets, run of walls, jump alot farther and other cool moves.

Another cool feature is that this game goes along with the movie. For example in the game ghost and niobe get an important letter from a postoffice and in the movie you see niobe hand morpheus a letter. The actors from the movie actually shot scenes for the game.

The only problem I had with this game is in the first level some parts take about 20 seconds and then it has to load. That really didn't happen in the rest of the game.

I think this is an awesome game and you should definatly check it out.

When I bought this game I had seen the first movie and was really excited when this came out. I love the game, in focus the moves are unimaginable. I love doing cartwheels and running on walls. One thing that I never knew how to do until one of the last levels was to make Ghost shoot while he was in the car, and Niobe is driving and you are contolling Niobe. You have to press L1 to get Ghost to start shooting. The reason I gave this game only 4* was because some of the levels can get very frusterating because you have to keep some people alive, and it seems that all those people want to do is die. Even though this game may seem a little expensive it's worth every penny.

This has got to be one of the more fun games I have ever played. If you have ever been a sci-fi fan, if you have ever seen The Matrix, this game is a must. The fun factor alone is worth having this game. Like any other licensed game there are some drawbacks.

First the finer points of the game. Good graphics and rendering give this game a good start. Sound effects are sharp as can be (after a fashion). Game play, while no longer unique, is very fun and engaging. There are several levels that flow well enough. There is a hacking program that you can use to access different parts of the game. Once you beat the game there is a one on one fighting mode. (You need two controllers plugged in to access it).

That being said there are some down sides. The visuals of the game are not always up to par with the movies. The game can echo during some of the cut scenes. Some save points are to close while others are to far apart. Due to the release date the game has a rushed feeling to it. I personally believed it would have benefited from some more development to polish out the bugs. Other than that it is a great action game I will recommend, ESPECIALLY if you're a Matrix fan.
