I absolutely love this game, words alone cannot describe it. Bullet time blends perfectly with the gameplay. Also, for those of you who wanted to play as Neo, it would defeat the game's purpose, since after the original Matrix he becomes invincible. Knowing this, the game producers decided to create two seperate characters to play as. I don't really care who I am in the game though, since the gameplay, cintematics, and amazing graphics are overwhelmingly amazing. Also, the hour of footage shot for the game is a must see. Run, gallop, drive, ride, do whatever possible to pick up a copy of this unbelievable game.

This game is incredible. The ability to "focus" (slow the game down into "bullet time". you can see and dodge bullets.) is worth the fifty bucks. The only things that i din't like about it was that the driving stages ... That's basically all. I have already beaten it with both characters and still go back to fight against the Agents. Buy this game!!!
the game is fun but dont buy it on ps2

I would not suggest buying this game on PS2. The developer, Atari, has identified a problem very early in the game (or so Ive been told). This problem will not allow you to pass a certain point, and therefore, the entire game is not playable. I would suggest buying the game on another console or waiting until the problem is fixed.
The Best Video Game ever!!!!

Enter The Matrix brings gamers into the world of the matrix. The game is a lot of fun for all Matrix lovers such as myself. You have the...kicking kun-fu action of the movies. You really get to kick a lot of [bad guys] in this game, it's just a very fun and fast paced game. You don't get to pick Neo, Morphious or Trinity but you get to choose between 2 other characters from the new movies. You don't get to choose Neo because he's the one, he's too strong. Mean that's the excuse I read in a video game magazine to why you can't pick him anyway. Not sure why you can't pick Morphious or Trinity at least though.
The characters that you get to use a very cool anyway. I don't know much about them since I didn't see The Matrix Reloaded yet but still they do all the kun-fu...kicking stuff so that's good enough for me to like them, haha. Just take the advice of a character in the first film though "when you see an agent you run". You can easily beat the...cops and other people in the game but only Neo can take on the agents. I tried to fight an agent and he destroyed me easily so don't try that, haha. Anyway if you like the Matrix films then this is the game you got to get.
I'm Reloaded!!!!!!!!!!

This game is nuts! It's not as complicated as the sequel (thank God), but the game play is bananas! The only thing everyone felt as they watched either one of the Matrixs' was "I wish I could do that" and now you can! I haven't played as the Asian cat yet, but Jada is definently worth the sore and blistered fingers!

I picked up Enter the Matrix for PS2 yesterday (5-15-03), and played it for about 2 hours last night. I typically play games like Tony Hawk, and Dave Mirra, and don't usually get in to action games, but because it's the matrix, I had to try it. So far I really like it. I don't know that it is revolutionizing the way we play games by any means, but it's good, and definitely not one to pass up. The controls are a little difficult to get use to, but by the end of the night I was able to jump out from behind a wall in slow motion and take out a couple security guards with two pistols. In addition to the game play, I like the idea that it is a separate story in itself, and includes original cinematics. If you are a Matrix fan, and play video games at least occasionally, try this one, you'll find yourself falling further and further down the rabbit hole.
Jack-in and be astonished!

If your are a fan of the Matrix film series, do not miss this game. The action is fast paced and will never leave you bored. The overall gameplay is decent and the graphics and soundtrack put you in the middle of the Matrix universe. The rabbit hole is deep... enjoy the ride!

I found the game to be highly entertaining and haven't enjoyed a game so much since Vice City or SOCOM. Even though the controls are not tight and the cutscenes are Playstation 1 quality, I'm addicted to the storyline and tie-in with the Matrix Reloaded Movie. Thank goodness they did the "bullet time" effect the way it suppose to be (unlike the lame Max Payne). The music and the actual sound of agents taking over bodies is also engrossing during gameplay. When I hear that Agent take the body of a cop, I know it's about to be complicated and start running! Matrix fans will not be disappointed since this videogame storyline fills in a blank of the actual movie. In a way, some people will find the game more entertaining than the actual movie!
