Something that does happen everyday

Well at one time or another we all dream of doing the cool things in the Matrix but since we can't they did the next best thing, make of video game about it. Whats cool about the game is that they shoot actual live footage for that's in the game only, you wont see thisstuff in The Matrix Reloaded. So it has it's own story line that adds on to The Matrix Reloaded and whats cool about it is that you wont know the story unless you play the game (Wonder what the other charters besides NEO were doing? Wonder no more). This is by far the best game thats based off a movie. One other cool thing, when you beat the game you get to see a trailer to the Matric Revolutions.

Okay now about the game play, well basically you are fast as hell and you can't beat everyone down that is normal. There's a button that lets you slow things down and do all that cool slow motion action. You only get to play as two characters Niaomi and Ghost, I didn't mind much, I mean if you got to play as NEO you would either already no the story from watching the Movie or you would spoil the movie. The basics of the game is to beat everyone down, there isn't really a strategy.

Bad Points
- Sometimes your characters stays locked on to NPC that are already dead and you get your ass kicked by the baddies and it is only sometimes, not all the time.

- Load time is horrible and the levels are pretty short, oh when you die, you have to load all over again and start from the begining. (Ya it sucks)

- There's a part in the game where the voices start echoing, it gets very annoying.

Good Points (End with positives)
- You get to fight Trinity

- You get cool moves with the touch of a button

- Awesome weapons

That's all I can think of at the moment, now the big question 'Should you I buy it?' Well I don't know, if you a big Matrix fan you probably already have it and if you don't you should buy it. If you're not, well... you will have to decide on your own. Is Slow motion and a whole lot of gun fire and fighting really worth the money?

Awesome Game. Make sure that you buy the Strategy Guide

I just picked this up yesterday, along with the strategy guide from BradyGames. Wow! I'm really enjoying playing this game. The extra video filmed for the game is great. For me, the game is a real challenge, and while I won't repeat what others have already written here, I have one recommendation:

BUT THE STRATEGY GUIDE! Its a must. It is really a beautiful, rich, and colorful guide to help you play the game. I would have been lost with out it. ...

Best I've Ever Played and/or Hacked

By far Enter the Matrix puts all other videogames to shame. A little tricky to understand at first, the hacking program is revolutionary and will shape the way videogames are constructed in the future. Not only can you access most of the game through the "Hack" feature, it intertwines itself with the game, which fits in with the movie. If you like the matrix, you will love this game. I hope they make one for revolutions.

great but a few flaws

overall this is my favorite game. you can do anything to bend the rules of the matrix. you can fight agents. Note you cannot complrtly kill a agent. just temperaley disable him. The flaws in this game are that if you enter a code on catching a plane level the game will freeze up. The levels are too dark you can barley see in some levels. overall this is a great game. you can if you beat hacking play muiltyplayer. it is well worth [the money]. bUY THIS GAME.

Good Game Limit Your Time Though

This was a great game with all the matrix moves.. but limit your time playing, it sucks you in to see whats next and the next thing you know your done.. but it has a great preview of Matrix III when you complete the game. i think they should of made the characters all the time ghost and niobe have differnt parts like at the chateu niobe gets caught if you play ghost and ghost gets caught if you play niobe, and when you meet up with Smith its the same levels, but i recommend you watch The Matrix Reloaded before you play the game because then it all falls in line, especially when you chase morpheus on the highway when hes fighting on the semi.. in the movie he falls off the semi but niobe is there to catch him on the car.. they show this scene in the game also but why was niobe there.. the game tells you the movie doesnt.. so this game is like the outtakes of the movie or the more not main characters perspective on the matrix but the other ship team (The Logos) so its a great game a few glitches on the highway and on every driving scene on there it echos and gets annoying but it doesnt make the game look bad.. i know how to do basically every move. the best i think is when you have 2 guys your fighting.. press x and o together you might have to put on the focus with L1 and you jump up and kick both of them in the jaw or you can do the slow float jump and kick him in mid air like Trinitys popular move.. great videos and movie scenes and the matrix III looks like its gonna be 20 times better than the matrix reloaded but of course matrix reloaded ended with To Be Concluded so its all gonna run good but i recommend you get the game its fun.. but i bought it and beat it in 5 hours with each character but play it on normal and it gets harder then hard is even better but you get bored of it if you play it all over again like any game. but its fun with the focus thats why i like easy you can use your focus longer than you can use it on normal or hard.. but if you dont know what focus is.. its slow mo of the matrix it helps everything slow down for you and your shots become more accurate and you can dodge bullets 10 times easier cuz you see them coming. but its a great game.

Where's Neo

First let me say I like this game. The action is great and the graphics are done well. The storyline compliments the movie and gives exposition that you would not get without playing the game. My only gripe is the absence of Neo and the other principle characters to play. This is truely frustrating considering the PS2 demo shows the fight scene between Neo and the Smiths as if it can be played. Playing with Niobi and Ghost is alright to see the parallel story, but it would have been nice to play as Neo or Morpheus.

Best game Period..

I purchased this game the day after it came out, and I think its one of the best sci fi games ever. I play it anytime I get the chance and I beat it with both characters and still play over and over. So if you dont have this game GO OUT AND GET IT!!!!, and ignore the reviews about people saying this game is to easy and short. What a bunch of crap, I beat this game quickly because I cheated and put in the code for infinate health. If I didnt do that I would still be stuck on trying to get away from 7 or 8 Agent Smiths on the streets of China Town!!!.

disapointing

Don't get me wrong, at first, Enter the Matrix is very fun and hooks the player quickly. There are amazing tricks you can do with both Ghost and Niobe, and with focus (bullet time), a gamer can add dozens of new moves to a fight like running up a while and jumping off while firing a gun.

However, with all this comes a price, and the worst aspect of the game would have to be the graphics. If this had come out for PSX, then these graphics would have been great, but times have changed and gamers expect better graphics and no more rectangles for arms and squares for hands. Also, when i found out one could play as either Ghost or Niobe, i just assumed each character would have different missions (Both of them wouldn't go through the same level and do the same objectives). This is not true at all. There are a few seperate missions, but for the majority of the levels, each character does the exact same thing, which is pretty disapointing and frustrating.

I'd suggest if you don't care about what i've said and u still want to play it, rent it, don't buy it. Since the game has almost no reply value 4 days after you start playing it, buying Enter the Matrix would just be a waste of money.

Worth the rent, but do not buy!

This is an extremely fun game, with some bugs and glitches here and there. But is it worth paying up [item price] for? Not in my opinion.

If you want to find out more about the Matrix Reloaded back story (if you watched the movie you noticed a bunch of stuff that was just kind of left alone, thats what this game is for) then this is practically a must.

This game Sticks and won't complete the game.

This release won't save and continues to freeze, we've taken back three CD's and it continues to happen. This went to market with a great flaw in this game.
