Average, saved by the Simpsons.

If it wasn't for the Simpsons voices and Simpsons cars and Simpsons everything, this game wouldn't be worth anything. It really is Crazy-Taxi lite. It's a lot easier than Crazy Taxi, and much goofier.

The loading times hurt the game and the voice acting is a little odd. I don't think the designers did it well enough. Sometimes it seems like what they say is totally random.

The modes are okay. There is a lot to do in the game, but it is tedious. YOu have to do the same thing over and over to get money which allows you to get more cars and more areas to travel in. After a while it gets tiring, especially with the loading time.

Rent this one, or buy it cheap.

Simple...and one of the most fun games i've ever played.

This is a very very very very fun game...even if all you have to do is pick up people and drop them off. It never gets boring to me. You get money depending on the speed you deliver the person off. There are also bonuses like if you avoid hitting 3 cars before you drop someone off you get extra points. Or if you destroy stuff you get extra cash. Ramming into a whole bunch of cars and going crazy gets you a whole lot of money(suits me >:). Then once you get enough money, you can buy new cars or levels. The graphics...are simplistic but they add a nice feel to the game,so I like 'em.

This game though is so simplistic that even my 6 yr old sister (I think she's that old) can play the game and not be too bad. It's not really innapropriateto me. They only say mild stuff like da** or a**...but other than that it's all you suck or something. Another thing though is...I dont have a game console...I sure wish they would make a PC version. It would make them an extra 20 or 30 bucks at least from me. Anyways I pretty cool game,I just want it on the PC.

So close to an "E" rating, yet so far away...

It's a pity the language in this game prevents it from being playable by Everyone. Aside from the Bart catchphrase "Who the hell are you?" (no real biggie there), Homer seems to like using "jerka**" rather than a more tame "jerkface" or simply "jerk", which would've made this one much more suitable for the 7 and up group.

That out of the way, this is a fairly enjoyable game in two-player mode. The only way to get more cars/maps is to play the single player "Road Rage" game... unlocking new vehicles and maps as you go along, then load up that game before selecting Head-To-Head so that you and your opponent can play using the unlocked cars and maps. (It's quite aggravating to load it up and find one of your idiot cousins has deleted your saved game because the little moron presses all the buttons to try and get to the game rather than, I don't know, READING the blasted screens and choosing what he needs to do in order to play. I guess that's why they have the little Memory Card Holders in each of the PS2 game cases.)

Really 4 1/2, but..........

The lifesaver of Simpson's Road Rage is the fact the Simpson's characters, voices, and the real neighborhood from the show. If this game wasn't Simpsons, it would be taken as just a copycat of Crazy Taxi. But, hey, it works, and this is definitely without a doubt at least a 4 star game.
The loading time is pretty long, but to make up for it, once it's loaded, the graphics are great. There are quite a few boards to play on, but you have to beat the first one to get the next, regardless of what mode you play on, and you have to earn characters too. Don't get me wrong, I may sound negative, but this is an exceptional game.
I would recommend this game to everyone over the age of 9, because it does have some language, but not much. It's nothing bad, just typical Simpsons.

Really captured the TV show

This game followed close the TV show. You basically have to do Taxi missions with the Simpsons cast. It has most of the original cast and some funny parts. I really got a good idea what Springfield looked like from the game. The rewards were a little outrageous to get, but other than that it was great. What would have made it better was if you was able to get out of the cars. Of course that will be in Hit and Run.

All right lets go smash things

Sweet and cool are the two words to describe this game. It is better than Crazy Taxi, but only if u like The Simpsons.

Ths Simpsons, finally on PS2! This game rocks! A whole slew of characters, a great story line, real character voices, and tons more. This game is exactly like Crazy Taxi except Ten Times Better! The only reason it got 4 stars is because of the slow loading times. Other than that it is AWESOME!

Great Game for ALL...

The writing is clever and captures the essence of each character. I found myself laughing more than when watching the series. Car control is both good and bad. It's easy to do donuts and change direction quickly, but at the same time it can be difficult to avoid things or get out of jams. This can be frustrating when on the clock. Great concept and execution. Would have given it five stars if the steering was more responsive. The "Sunday Drive" feature is a great way to spend leisurly time without the pressure of the clock or "winning."

Not very fun

Normally, I'm a big fan of the Simpsons but this game really did no justice to the name. Aside from the snide remarks that the Simpsons crew throws out constantly (which in my opinion is the only entertaining bit to this game), the game is very repetitive and boring. The graphics were very choppy and sloppy. It was like time turned back, it was 1983 and I was playing Pac-Man on my Atari.

It plays like Crazy Taxi, which too, was also a bad driving game. This is really not a game for the older gamers but kids will enjoy this very much because of it's simplicity. I hated it but maybe you'll like it. Have fun and Happy gaming!
