This is a great game by lucas arts but I would suggest getting the game book with hints from amazon.com because you get in one part of the game and you have lots of trouble finding out how to do something but overall it's a wonderful game.
It's so good, I use it as a student reward!

Fun game play, challenging but not impossible puzzles all related to the story. Just a cool game.
I used it as a top score reward for my high school kids and scores rose significantly.

I loved this game; it plays like a movie. I played it with my wife for hours across many months and we both loved it. I honestly have to say that it is probably the best computer adventure ever written. I love Tim Schaeffer's other works too, but this one stands out.

This is not just another game ! it is much more than that: the story, the music, the characters and the design are just PERFECT. The only regret i have is that there is not much chance for another game like it. The graetest game ever !

This is the gaming industry's answer to "Citizen Kane"! An amzing story with great graphics and music. The puzzles are usually fairly tough although a couple of them are a little frustrating.
Great game, except...

Ok, so we have a unique premise, outstanding graphics and sound, tough puzzles...and a KEYBOARD-BASED INTERFACE????? It's clumsy, and takes some practice to learn, especially in controlling character movement.
One of the Last Good LucasArts Games

You are in luck; 10 bucks for this great game. To be honest, I really don't like this genre but I have played the demo, seen the promos and talked to people who have played the whole game. My conclusion is that besides X-Wing Alliance, this was one of the last expertly programmed and designed games to come out of the LucasArts workshop. Pretty much everything after this release stinks to high heaven. So go buy it already!
THE BEST GAME EVER!

This is the best adventure game I have ever played. It has good graphics and the plot is amazingly well constructed. You are Manoel Calavera and you work at the department of death. Something fishiy is going on and Manoel has to find out whats wrong.

Lucas Arts does a great job with its adventure games. You can't die or lose. You might get stuck, but you can always find a decent walkthrough on the web. This game is an artistic gem, both in the visual drawing style but also in the background music, which I think is the best (by far) I have heard in a game. My only quibble was that I found the interface (no mouse, either keyboard or joystick) a little awkward.
