This game is totally awesome. Don't be mad at me if you don't like it (which I highly doubt), but this is a game for everybody. I am an RPG fan, but this game is also packed with comedy, and, believe it or not, I found it pretty moving too (believe it or not.) I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Glottis is the best. Anyway, this game is fun but can be very tricky-and sometimes too trycky-things you wouldn't think of. Buy this game.

When I first read about this game online, I was stunned at all of the good reviews it recieved. So I bought it to see for myself, and boy was I blown away. There are so many incredible things in this game that other adventure games don't have. It combines an epic storyline and unforgettable characters with beautiful animation directly from ancient aztec mythology. The reason it seems to deliver on so many levels is that it is like nothing I have ever seen before! If you are a fan of the film noire genre, enjoy adventure games like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island, or are just looking for something new then check this out. I guarentee that you'll like this.

A great game with a good storyline. Challenging, but can be figured out (for the most part) without the strategy giude. I've played the game twice already. The controls can be a bit awkward at times.

This game has wonderful graphics and a very exciting plot. I love Manny Calavera, Salvador Limones, Meche,Johnny Thunder Boys, Pugsy, Bibi,Glottis, Don Copal, Bowlsley,Lola and almost everyone else in the fabulas game. I love the film noir atmosphere. I like how everybody drinks and smokes and they can't get lung damages. The only thing I did not like was how hard some of the puzzels were. I love how the buildings look and how the creatures or souls look. Grim Fandango is a wonderful game that many poeple like or should like. Thank you.

Bought the game and was eager to play, hoping it would run on Windows 2000. It does, but requires a patch from the Microsoft website (there's an additional patch on LucasArts site that will fix a few "snags" in the game). Downloaded, played with no problems. It IS a beautiful, great game: short, but entertaining; slow-moving, but absorbing for puzzle-oriented people; and just difficult enough to be relaxing and not frustrating. I'm a fan!

I never give reviews, but I just had to say it's the best because it's different, it's smart, it's grownup, the graphics are incredible ... I really hated to finish this game. When I've forgotten most of the details I will replay it again. I've played LOTS of adventure games and this one always comes to mind first. I sure wish they'd make more games like this.
Already a classic.

Any adventure gamer worth his or her salt cannot be without Grim Fandango. The concept is so fresh and original, you won't be able to keep your mind off it. Be prepared to lose a lot of sleep over Manny Calavera and his world.

This game is awesome: plain and simple. I picked up a jewel case copy for about ten bucks while visiting family. The setting is the land of the dead and you are...that's right...DEAD. You play Manny, a bony stiff with a reaper's scythe who's trying to work his way to the promised paradisiacal underworld. Naturally some problems get in the way and you have to work out the kinks. The storyline is enthralling and it kept me coming back for more every time. The animation is like nothing I had seen before I played it and nothing I've seen since has really rivaled it. Some of the puzzles are a little tricky but patience is the key to figuring them out and whatever you do, DON'T CHEAT unless you are absolutely positive you can't figure out what to do--this game is far too entertaining for you to ruin it by getting too much outside help. I just wish they'd make a sequel!!! Buy it now...
