Bioshock is one of the best videogames I've played in a looooooong time. It combines a really intriguing story, great villians, smart A.I., & a colpletely interactive enviornment. Taking place in a utopia at the bottom of the sea called Rapture, Bioshock grabs you from the onset & never lets go. I've got so many good things to say about this game, I don't know if I have the space to write them all down. Instead, I'll dwell on the only real negative, it's just not long enough. But, you can say that about almost all first person shooters nowadays. This is one of the rare games that would sell me the console/platform it's made for, if I didn't already own it.
Wow

Yes, you are not going to find a better game than this. Enjoy it, I have been playing it little by little. Once every four days just for a half an hour...savor it, or you may regret it. It is that good.
Delightfully Creepy.

Being a FPS (first person shooter) fan, this is a refreshing break from the norm: quite literally. It's a twisted world perspective and I loved (and am loving) every minute of it. To the makers of the movie, "Hostel", eat your heart out (pun intended). Tap into your dark side and join the citizens of Rapture, the setting of the game, in an epic adventure that is sure to satisfy the beast in you. Weapon upgrades, mystical powers, disturbing clown music and deranged psychos; who could ask for more? This is a must-have and is perfect for any gamers arsenal.
loved it

I found this game to be much more of a most own title for the 360 than Halo 3. The graphics were better, the story was better and the gameplay was better. While the game overall didn't last as long as I would have liked the other aspects of the game made up for that.
Best non-Halo game for Xbox

This game is by far, the best full sized game that isn't Halo for the Xbox 360.
The story is one of the best one's I've seen in a game since Zelda Wind Waker, and the controls are good, but they could be better, not being able to change the controls is one drawback, but a minor one.
Should be 4.9 out of 5

This game was everything that I expected and more! The physics and environment detail were amazing. I only gave it 4 stars because in all honesty I think they could've spent a little more time on the storyline. I felt that this game was way too short for the open canvas it painted in the world of "Rapture". Also, there was little effort put into the blood animation comming from the enemies, it has a "House of the Dead" style to it. Beautful game in my opinion!
Great game -- one of the best 360 games available

This is a great game -- definitely inventive, original & fun. It can get a little tiresome doing some of the "errands" they often make you do to complete missions, but the combat is unique and entertaining. Great visual effects and a great story.
Very good, but with some problems I didn't like.

Bioshock is is a fantastic horror fps. I throughly enjoyed skulking around and looking for splicers. The Graphics are amazing, while the plasmids are cool. A couple things stood out though that bothered me. One, if you die, you just pop back to life in a tube not that far away. It really takes away the fear when you know if something does kill you, you will just come back to life with no penalties. Also, the hacking mechanic is poor. All you do is connect tubes together, and later in the game it gets frustrating when the "goo" flows really fast. Other then that this is one of the best games I've ever played. The splicers magically appear behind you at some points and it is scary. I played the game from beginning to end without breaks, and I can't wait to do it again.
Amazing

This 2K game is a must have for the shooter and horror enthusiast. Its accessible to younger teens but as an adult, I still really enjoyed it.
