Bioshock! Amazing!!

I wasn't much into shooters or scientific or horror games but I've seen enough of them through my gaming experience which spans more than 12 years, however, I gave this game a try since I wanted to change my games category from sports and racing to more shooters and guess what? This was a shock! the game is extremely well created whether its the graphics, voice acting, sound effects, and even the storyline which can easily fit a hollywood blockbuster, this is one of the most unique games I ever played.

I've been playing video games for a loooong time. Bioshock is my favorite. The other reviews do a fine job of explaining the game but my advice is just buy it and start playing without letting any reviews spoil the story.

Let's keep this simple, shall we?
If you've ever played a first-person shooter, this game is for you!
Beautifully detailed environments, innovative weapons with multiple upgrades, bad-guys with decent AI. However, until you stare down and face off with your first Big Daddy encounter, you haven't lived!! The story is compelling and moves you along nicely. Twists and turns await you in rapture!

Horrendous customer service

BEWARE! Although there are several good reviews about this product, I played this and got stuck in a buggy loop. I contacted the customer service and they assigned a case and completely ignored me. After 10's of e-mails, they just went silent. I even told them that I'll send them my save of the game so that they can play it /fix and it , but no hope.
There are several bugs with the games 2K manufacturers and if you're unfortunate enough to get stuck in one of them mid way through hours and hours of play you're doomed. They don't even have new and proper patches for these bugs. How can they, if they don't listen to customer issues.
It's too unfortunate that they're getting all these good reviews. The game is reasonably fun to play. But not as much as fun, when you get stuck after playings for 10's and 10's of hours and have to forfeit.

I'm never buying games from 2K games again.

this game is over hyped. the game play is too simplistic. sure the graphics is amazing but really the A.I is dumb found.

First person shooters aren't my kind of game. But Bioshock is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. It truly immerses you into the world of rapture and has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I still love my third person games, but Bioshock is definitely a game not to miss.

Any Fallout Fans out there?

This game is good on many levels. The game play is easy to learn and even easier to use. My favorite part of this game however is not that the graphics are good or anything like that. My favorite part is that this game reminds me of fallout through and through from the look of the city all the way down to the music that plays from the juke boxes. This game is fun and the rpg aspect of it is tied in pretty well. I think ill be playing this game for awhil;e to come.

Great game of both fun and challenge, it is not one that will be done in a week. The graphics and storyline with characters and weapons of artillery and magic as well as the city underwater you are fighting in against AI that is smart and tough just makes this the best FPS or first person shooter since Rainbow six vegas and even that looks a little weak compared.... This made me gladly wait for Halo!

The only bad thing about this game is that it raised so much the standars and will be difficult to find similar or better games in the near future.
