I really enjoy RPG's with story lines and this one is a good one. You can prtty much walkhru this with out a book. Which is a plus,because most all other RPG's need a walkthu guide or you will get lost. This one ranks up there with final fantasy!

If you play this game and like it, you got a problem. Because there is no game, that is like this one. I tried to find one, but didn't find one on either system.

This game is one of the most intense games I have ver played. I just got this game and it is very well done for a PS game. I bought mine at Hollywood video for only $9.99 and they had a MegaMan game with one disc at $24.99. And this game has 4 discs! 4 DISCS! Buy this game if you like RPG. Oh, and there is lots of timing to this game.

A fantastic game, and Sony's first attempt at RPG's. A pretty good try I'd say. Suprisingly a quite intriging plot and wonderfuly designed characters. The game does have a few cliches, but still a great game. Great FMV sequences, great battles system (the coolest part of the battles is that you can transsform into Dragoons), great storyline, and very defined emotions. The sites review doesn't explain it very well, so I will. Thousands and thousands of years ago, the god Soa created a great tree. from this tree sproughted 109 seeds. from these seeds came 109 races. Among them, Humans, Dragons, Winglies. They all lived peacefully until the winglies grew power hungry. They enslaved humans and ruled over them from their flying cities (yes the winglies can fly). But from the Humans arose those with the spirit of the Dragoons, and the power to controll Dragons.The Dragoons fought the winglies (in an epic FMV sequence) and won. As the winglies fell out of power they tried to comlete Soa will, to release the God of Destruction: Virage. But the embrio didn't get to the virage egg, but took human form every 108 years. The host of the embrio, or Moon Child, was holy and supposed to bring holy bliss, but only brought demonic chaos and the Black Monster. This monsters purpose was to destroy the embrio, but one time around it failed... Now 18 years later you are with a girl who will change the fate of the world. But you must trust no one, for among you, also is the Black Monster. The answer to this mystery lies within the Moon that Never Sets.

Yah, I know a little over dramatic, but once you get into the story, it's hard to stop. Map exploration is ery extesive, even though you have to follow a dotted line (it deosn't make a difference). All together a great game.

i have just finished playing this game and i am starting it for a second time, this is a good game that is full of twists and turns in the story line. this game also has memerable charicters who you will remember through the game. my only complaints are you can't change the config very much and the subtitles get a little anoying. this game seems to have many similarities with final fantasy VII, and you will get flashbacks in your mind of sceens from ffvii. though it's minor flaws it is a game you won't be able to put down.

Legend of dragoon is the closest thing you can get to final fantasy without actually having final fantasy. The characters are interesting and the plot is immensely creative. The combat system needs a little work, though (it relies on well timed button taps and if you don't get them just right, you wind up doing virtually no damage) and some bosses are just a little too hard, even by normal boss standards. This game has countless hours of gameplay, though and once you get into it, i gaurantee your family will be seeing very little of you for quite a while. have fun!

I love this game it is a nice rpg/strat. game 4 whole cds that is amazing. When compared to final fanansty 5 this game rules supieor over it SIMPLE THIS IS THE BEST STEAKIN GAME EVER INVENTED! HOPE you find it use full.THE first cd takes 3-4 hour to beat.3 times 4 makes around 12 hours of non stop on your seat perfecto!

Awesome game! A must have for RPG fans, especially psx gamers. The only thing about this game is that you have to get used to the battle system. Hitting 'X' when two squares overlap is how you attack using your character's unique attacks. The system is not hard, but if you are a traditional RPG fan who is used to just mashing 'X' every now and again you may have to get used to this. Personally I like it because it is different.
