One of the funnest games in the world

I am a person who has played this game,it is without a doubt one of the funnest games I have ever played. Two members of my family have played it and they love it. My cousin,Brandon plays it every day and so dous grandmom. I disobey the rules and play it in bed when I am supposed to be sleeping. So without a doubt I,as a person who has played this game, can recommend it to any person who wants to have fun.

Great Game, Sketchy Online Play.

Well this game was worth every penny that I paid for it. My sister also has the game and she enjoys it. I think this is fun for all ages.

Graphics:
8.5/10

3-D, but not too advanced for its time.

Sound:
9/10
Great music selections to obtain.
Each home brings out a new variety.

Controls:
10/10
Pretty easy.
You get the option of using the stylus or the normal controls.

Playability:
Very-High

Online Play:
6.5/10
It's fun, however, with the amount of people who try and wreck havoc on other towns, it lowers the enjoyability.
Just remember, only let people into your town that you would trust.

Overall:
9/10

My recommendation:

Sure fire way to lose track of time as you become engulfed in the wonders of your town and the people in it.

Great for all ages!

This game is still fun to play and ive had it for well over a year!

Ive Owned this game for over a year! and im still finding new and intresting things to do in it. Its not a fast paced game, you have to take your time and work your way around the village/get to know people/write letters etc....
I will be honest though, i didnt really get to enjoy EVERY part of the game untill i bought the "offical player Guide" you can order it here, it cost me about 15 dollars and it was well worth the money!!!!! if your a fan of this game already buy the strategy guide! (book for tips etc) The game really is adorable but i will admit it got a little bit boring sometimes but there is plenty to make up for it.
Its tuned in with the clock settings on your DS system so during game play (depending on what time your are playing) you get to see the sunrise, hot miday sun and the sunset! The best part for me was the season change. You get to go through the seasons in real time! which i just adored. It celebrates the holidays with you too. I got this game for a early christmas present, I remember being snuggled up in the fleece blanket with my dogs on my lap sitting in the living room with my family around the christmas tree and playing Animal Crossing, it was below freezing outside and while i was playing it started snowing too. Right now its summer so i have fishing, catching butterflies, pulling weeds...... LOTS TO DO! that you can only do during certin seaons.
Its a game for all ages (im 23 yr old Female) i would recommend this game especially for children because this game will keep them intrested for more then just a couple days. Also lots of stuff to do and theres not even a hint of violence in this game.

A great game for all ages!

I confess, I'm 63, and I was totally bored by "Brain Age". I found out about "Animal Crossing" by accident, and since I had bought the Nintendo DS, I decided to try a used copy of the game! At first I didn't know what to think, because the previous owner's house was still there, full of cockroaches, and when I went outside there was this creature yelling at me for not saving the game. After I got past that (I started over) I was totally charmed by the game. Wow!

I've been playing the game, on and off, for about two weeks, and I'm still totally awed by it. I think the people who made the original game, and the people at Treehouse, deserve a standing ovation.

I think that this game would also be great for younger players. Embedded in the game is encouragement to work hard, to write legibly, to be polite, and to be patient. There is rudimentary information about the Stock Market and feng shui. There is a lot of information about fish, fossils, and insects.

I would recommend this game to anyone, and I might even buy a Wii so that I can buy "Animal Crossing - City Folks" when it comes out.

Great!

I just wanted to say that the animal crossing game is great! I have mario kart ds, nintendogs, and animal crossing and I would have to say that out of all of these Wi-Fi Connection games, animal crossing is the best. You can visit friends, write letters, have friends visit you, there is so much to do. The fun is endless. I spend hours playing this game because it is so addictive.

good but the wi fi isnt that good

my freind got this game and you cant just be wallking and find a person you have to get the code from your freind and then you have to add the code to your freinds list and then you have to go to a plase that will put you online and then you have to choose a freindand then you can play him and som i think the game is good the graphics are unbeleveable for a handheld and so if you think you just walk andb then you find someone then your wrong but overall for the wi fi connechin is hmmmm..... 4stars out of ten so if you do think that then your wrong

Animal Crossing Wild World(ACWW) is really fun. My friend let me make a file and I always like to play it. This game is a game that everyone should play. The features of making constellations and being able to change your hair style is also cool. The Wi-fi feature makes it even more fun because you can make some friends around the world. This is why I thought ACWW is a great game.

An excellent game but not much changed from the original

This is, at heart, a portable, slightly stripped down version of the Gamecube hit Animal Crossing.

When you start the game, you are either a young boy or girl, who is moving to a new animal-filled town and a new life. You start out with virtually no money. Upon reaching the town, Tom Nook (the local shopkeeper) sells you a house. Since it costs more than you have, you have a mortgage. To help pay it off, he hires you to do some odd jobs. After performing a few tasks for him, you're free.

At this point, the game becomes totally open-ended. You can fish, catch bugs, dig up fossils and fill your house with furniture (and other decorations). To buy the furniture, and to pay off your mortgage, you can sell almost anything, including fruit from trees. Unlike real mortgages, the ones in Animal Crossing Wild World are very laid back---there is no time when you must pay a certain amount.

The biggest difference is Animal Crossing Wild World, like its Gamecube cousin, uses the real time clock. This means if you have the time set to December 12, 2006, 10:30 PM, it may snow, and the stars will be out. This also affects the fish and insects you may catch. It also affects what villagers are available.

Special events happen at certain times of the year, some tied to certain days of the week and times of the day (check out Saturday night and Sunday mornings).

Because the game uses a real time clock, it is important to play the game fairly regularly. Every day in the game, whether you play the game or not, a few more weeds will crop up in the town. Aside from looking bad, the weeds eventually bring down the town's popularity with its residents.

The biggest change in Animal Crossing Wild World is the addition of wireless play, allowing people from around the world to visit your town (and vice versa). Security comes from "friend codes" which are the keys to your town. However, since the animals all go inside during a visit, visitors may not take part in any special events.

Unfortunately, if you are very familiar with the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing, there aren't many enhancements (aside from the wireless play which is a huge addition for some people). In fact, the holiday list has been drastically trimmed, and the classic Nintendo games buried in the original Gamecube have been removed. There are little touches, like the cafe in the basement of the Museum, and the customizable constellations (which appear at certain times of the year), but nothing major.

If you are looking for a very laid-back game you want to play for, say, 10 minutes a day, this can be a fantastic value. It is also a great game for kids. But, if you want a lot of action, puzzles to solve, or a game that you can play every few weeks, this game won't fit the bill.

The Wild World of Awsome!

This game is just so fun. It's the first WiFi game I've bought for my DS, and its the reason I bought my DS. I love sims and RPGs so its perfect. The Animal Crossing Community site is full of helpful people and plenty of people to play with, the world is cute and fun with many options to explore! I haven't been playing too long but I'm already addicted. I highly recomend it, esspecially if your a fan of sims, RPGs, or if you think it would be cool to build your own little house and move into online communities with friends and people accross the globe! you can make your own clothes, design flags, even rewrite the town theme song, so your town can be just that, YOURS! ^^

AC:WW ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! d ; D

I got this game like 2 1/2 months & it teaches som pretty cool lessons like:

1. How to control your $$$
2. your house morgatge that you have to pay off.
3. (My opinion...) Friendship with your neighbors.

Anyway I don't think you could EVER get bored from it!!!
