Get it on playstation.
Its not a REALLL bad conversion, but I've played both, and the PSX has better control, along with music, graphics, and ease of gameplay. If you haven't played the PSX version, do it before you buy this game.
Excellent game

This is one of my favorite video games ever. Everytime I play it I feel like I'm the one skating instead of Tony Hawk/Bob Burnquist, etc. I recommend this game to anyone who likes skateboarding, or sports.
this is cool

I played this thing once and I couln't stop! It is so fun to try out new moves, find hidden shortcuts, and Try the special moves. The handling is excellent, but if you're in split-screen mode, things are harder to see and the controls are tighter. THE BOTTOM LINE-the best skateboarding game for the N64. Once you pick the contoller up, you'll never put it down!

This game has control that has a HUGE learning curve, and is still difficult to handle! And don't give me anything about "Not playing it enough.". I've played it for about 5 hours straight and I don't get any better. But then again, I can kick *** in games like Perfect Dark and Super Mario 64.
The graphics are two thumbs WAY down, and this game was made for intellectually challenged people who stupidly try to imitate professional skaters and end up breaking their neck. Ha!
Overall, the control ruins this game.
GREAT GAME BUT THE PS/DC VERSION IS BETTER!! NUFF SAID?

Awesome game, My congrats to nintendo for finally putting out a good game and stop riding the success of Goldeneye! If you just have a Nintendo you should get this game, however if you have a Nintendo AND a Dreamcast, or Playstation you should get it for one of those systems and thats the only reason i gave it 4 stars! P.S. by the way my maximum score for the game is 329,000 on the warehouse. Feel free to email me your highest score at universal_maniac_182@yahoo.com Please PLEASE no junk mail or i will block your address permenantly!

Okay. This game ... If you think this game is good, play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and see what you think after that. This game lacks good graphics and doesn't have enough tricks to keep you awake. I mean, come on! One lip trick?! Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 has plenty of lip tricks, grab tricks, flip tricks, and specials. Plus, on Pro Skater 2 you have the ability to decide what tricks are performed for which button. If you are a true Tony Hawk fan, don't get this game. It will upset you to much.
N64 Version (almost) as good as Playstation legend.

What a great game! Everything's intact from the PSX version; they even have a move simulator(very cool indeed). However, although the gameplay is as smooth as a skipping stone, the music was apparently forgotten. This was the key to the PSX classic, and instead they have instrumental (mostly) versions of SOME of the songs. Indeed, I was dissapointed with that, but otherwise this is a great game. If you have DC or PSX, get those versions instead of this relatively weaker version.
Great game but the music absolutly STINKS!

When I got this game it took me maybe one week to actually beat it (with help of a walk through). Now I still play and I plan to beat it with all the people (wich will take up all the memory on my card). But the music absolutly STINKS. I mean how can anyone listen to this junk.I mean come on! The music has been my only complaint so far. And I can turn it off so it doesn't hurt my overall score of the game...
