Well done by Capcom

Capcom did a great job bringing this game to the Nintendo 64. Graphics and gameplay are nearly identical to Sony, if not better on Nintendo. FMV suffers though, due to the lack of space on the cartridge, but still looks great considering how it is done. I'd recommend anyone who doesn't have a Playstation to buy this game. It's a lot of fun and some of the extra options give it great replay value.

An Amazing Game for N64

My friend owns the game for Playstation. I loved it. The problem was I have N64. I was so happy to see that they came out with a version for the system. This game is very scary! I also like the idea that you can play as two different people. It gives you the opportunity of playing the game more than once with a different scenario. I have beaten the game more than 10 times and I still love Resident Evil 2. I suggest that people who love horror and video games to buy this. Good Luck!

Terror in Raccoon City

This game is by far the best for the Nintendo 64. If you like scary games that will keep you up at night, this is the game for you! There are many frighting surprises in Resident Evil 2. For instance, nightmarish creatures popping up from around dark corners, and zombies following your every move. Even though this game is a horror game, it has some very sad moments and despair. After I played this game, I had nightmares just about every night of being in Raccoon City, getting chased by zombies and creatures of darkness and evil. If anyone has the guts to play this game, take my advice. Don't play it when nobody's home, don't play it in a dark room at night, and don't think that it's all just a game. If you think that, you won't feel like that for long! It really feels like being trapped in a horror movie, with NO way out! I recomend this game HIGHLY! Have some scary fun!

My friend has a PSX and introduced me to the Resident Evil series. I loved it! On several occasions we've had to swap systems,(I have N64) ,just so I can experience survival horror. When I heard Capcom was going to port RE2 to N64, i was thrilled. I readily scooped this one up. It is a perfect translation of the PSX classic. One flaw, however, the FMV quality. But, other than that, it's awesome. If you're a fan of the series but have an N64, pick this one up!

I changed my mind about this game. Once you get used to the spastic 2D/3D game controls and the fact that you cannot look behind anything as there is no 3D camera, this game is actually kind of fun.

This game brings a whole new meaning to the phrase: "Things That go Bump in the Night." You play as either a R.P.D. police named Leon Kennedy or a resourceful young woman named Claire Redfield. The evil Umbrella Corp. has unleased a new chemical virus in Raccoon City turing anyone who breathes in to a zombie. You have to escape the city, kill the zombies, and of course try to stay alive.

This is a great game for both beginner and itermediate gamers. The plot begins in a place called Racoon City that is infested with zombies.(what a great idea)This game is kinda gory but a little blood never hurt anyone.(expecially if the color can be changed from red to green or blue)I would of given this game more than 4 stars, but the one thing I don't like about it is that the veiwpoint of the character is really messed up.(you see the character and enemys from above instead of just seeing in front of you)Other than that this is a great game.

I now I'm late but wow this games the best. The graphics are awesome the story line is unbelieveable. I love it!!!!!!! Who cares if it's 2 years old it's still the best game for the N64...... well except for Conker's Bad Fur Day but that's a different story.......
