Hey! I just wanted to say that this Video Game series is the best series EVER! Resident Evil 2 is probably the best game of the series. I must say that this is the scariest piece of entertainment i've ever seen. I'm SERIOUS! Capcom really did outdo themselves. If your a fan of video games here is your bible. You must play this game. (I reccomend playing it with Claire!)

If your looking for THE game for N64 this christmas get RE2!

"Oh the weather outside is frightful..." yeah when you see all the zombies out there! "...but the fire is so delightful..." When your using your flamethrower! I have to admit Resident Evil 2 for Nintendo 64 is the best crossover playstation game EVER! If you have never had a chance to play it on Playstation this is the next best thing! Both Playstaion C.D.s are stuffed onto one cart. Which actually makes it the largest use of bytes used on a cartridge game EVER. Also if you want to have a game that makes you actually jump out of your chair and run to the next room to mommy this is the one! The game also includes great intro movies that also give you that creepy feeling. The game also has has been given a makeover of sorts so that the characters are more defined than in the Playstation version, The only drawbacks are: The voices are a little tinny and the cgi movies are a little grainy but everything else is there. But beware if this game is going to be a stocking stuffer make sure you look inside the stocking before putting your hand in there. You might not get it back! " Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow."

I got this game for Christmas from my grandmother, otherwise my mom would've thrown it out. This game is the best I've ever played. I love the parts when everything is quiet and all of a sudden something nasty looking jumps at you. And after my whole nervous system stops vibrating and my hands can hold still, I start thinking it's funny. Usually once the suspense breaks and something freaky happens I cuss the game out until my mouth gets dry. Great game.

The Best Game I EVER Bought For The N64

This game is the bomb. I'm 15 and in games there's not 1 gameout there that scared me but now with Resident Evil 2 I don`t play toolong when it gets dark. My heart rate just sky rockets and I start to get chills. I`m serious this game has to be the best. With the chilling sound effects, Great graphics especially with the 4mb expansion pack. If I were you I`d get my hands on a copy of this game. And when I play the game I have one Moddow "If the suspence doesn`t kill me something else will." END

A Chilling experience

First off, a word for those of you with heart problems. DO NOT buy this game because it will give you a massive heart attack from the scare. RE2 is a great conversion of the playstation version. The graphics, if you have an expansion pack, are awesome, and the gameplay is incredible. I love scary movies, but this is even better. From zombies jumping through baorded up windows to lickers ambushing you from the ceilings, the game never lets you feel totally safe. The in game music presents a perfect feeling of eerieness. Just wait until you play the second mission, where SOMETHING, stalks you the entire mission, attacking when you least expect it. Stop reading this review and buy this game now!

Dam this game is good. Its a PERFECT port of the playstation version. In some places its even BETTER than the playstation version. Not for small kids unless they are brave and mentally secure (nothing can phase them for life). You play as Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield blasting zombies and solving complex puzzles.

WELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME!

It's about time N64 owners got a taste of Survival Horror. I've heard since the beginning of the year of Capcom's plans to make a special N64 edition of Resident Evil 2. As soon as it came out in November, I went out and bought it. When I got home, I plugged it into my console, and was blown away on how good Rez Evil 2 plays on the system. Those of you who thought N64 would never see FMV, are wrong! The in game cinemas come out beautifully! Well let's cut to the chase: You are either Leon, a rookie cop, or Claire, sister to Chris, hero of the original. Your mission: Try to make it out of Raccoon City alive, while blowing away zombies, lickers, and other mutant critters, the results of a mutagenic virus released by the dreaded Umbrella Corporation. Expect plenty of bloody mayhem{Depends on the Intensity level}, tricky puzzles, plus much more!

IN THE TOP THREE GAMES FOR 64 AT THIS MOMENT.

First off I would like to say that a game like this only comesaround once every 5 years. The game is not at all hard to learn and the controlling can be changed to first person for those who like the Mario 64 way of playing a game. The character development is quite astonishing for a video game. And the violent content is probably the highest in a game right now.And speaking of content of the game..I believe the M rating is not high enough...I know they dont give games like this the AO rating but this game is kinda like the Saving Private Ryan of video games. This game is sick and twisted and fun.Go out and get it. END

aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this game scared the crap outta me!!!!

Resident Evil 2 by itself was an outstanding entry in the survival horror genre. The T-Virus has taken over Raccoon City, and you play as either Claire Redfield or Leon Kennedy in a desperate attempt to make it out alive. The graphics, sound, and intentionally stiff controls make gameplay a tense and often nerve-wracking experience, and the intricate storyline draws you in while throwing zombies and other bizzare mutations at you. Plus, after you finish one game, you can go back and play as the other character and experience events from their perspective. Then do the whole thing in reversed order, for up to four different gameplay experiences. And thats not counting the secret missions and other bonus goodies.

Like Capcom did with Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the Super Nintendo, they did the impossible again here and crammed a 2-CD, graphics-heavy game onto a cartridge. Angel Studios did the job, and used massive data compression along with a 512-megabit cartridge to fit everything in. The result is a game pak that is physically heavier than all the other games in your collection. Whats even cooler are the new features, including a high-res graphics option and 5.1 surround. The only thing that takes a hit are the pre-rendered cutscenes, which are pixelated from compression. But its a small price considering no one expected the game to fit at all.

Great for the novelty value, great for the gameplay experience. Resident Evil 2 must be in your N64 collection.
