I now I'm late but wow this games the best. The graphics are awesome the story line is unbelieveable. I love it!!!!!!! Who cares if it's 2 years old it's still the best game for the N64...... well except for Conker's Bad Fur Day but that's a different story.......

I think Resident Evil 2 was a pretty cool game for the N64. The graphics were awsome. Espesially for the n64. That was only because it was a short game though. The story line is really cool. I like the part in the beginning (on Leon's file) where clair is running out of the diner and there is a zombie behind her and she dosen't know it. Then she sees Leon and says "Dont shoot!" and then Leon yells "get down!" and she drops onto the ground and Leon caps that zombie right in the middle of the forehead. there is Really good graphics when Leon's jeep drives into town. the only bad part was that it was too long. I would buy this game if it weren't for the fact that I like to rent the games for the 64 and not buy them. I am such a Resident Evil fan that I can name off all of the RE books and I haven't even read them, any of them...

scares me to death

Back before Capcom made negotiations with Nintendo to release all of the new Resident Evil games(well the main story ones) first on the Gamecube, Nintendo fans missed out on all of the RE games. So it was nice of Capcom to finally allow the N64 to get a piece of the RE series. Although the FMVs aren't as crisp as the PS1's, the overall graphics look better on the N64. As with the other games in the series, RE2 has you picking a character and basically trying to solve puzzles and collecting items while trying to stay alive. Throughout the game, you are constantly being attacked by zombies and other various mutant creatures. Some people say that RE2 is their favorite game in the series and while I would have to say that RE1 is my favorite, RE2 is still a great game. Don't be afraid though of being freaked out by this game, because it is not scary at all. The other games in the series seem a bit more creepy and startling at times while this game seems more about action most of the time. So if your looking for a great game for your old N64 then this is one of the best out there for it.

One of the better N64 games

This is one of the better N64 games if you have the 4meg expansion pack and it's good and creepy but some of the puzzles could have been a bit more easy to figure out but if you don't have an N64 get the GameCube remake as the Graphics are much better but still worth picking up and adding to your N64 collection :)
