I use to play Master's of orion two in college, but when I graduated some of my stuff was, shall we say, borrowed. Anyhu, a friend of mine started talking about it and I remembered the weeks of fun this game provided. 13 diffrent species with unique abilities, and a system with choose your own attributes. great turn based strategy game, and a must for old school Sci-Fi afficionados and new gameplayers alike.

Truly a Classic & Benchmark

MOO2 is a classic and benchmark by which all space opera (strategy) games should be measured. This game got pretty much everything right in terms of story, gameplay, and strategy. Many games have tried to immitate MOO2, with very few coming close to this classic game. Even though its came out a few years ago and looks a dated, the gameplay is really good.

The best of all

I have never found a more thrilling game like Master of Orion 2. Despite the old but still good Graphik, it is a game, that you can play and win and start over again and again, without getting bored.

This game may be old, but it has amazing graphics, and every ascpect of the game, ships, weapons, colonies, even your race is customizable. I can always play another game, and it is really a neat game.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. I would rate it up with Civilization, Civ2, Alpha centauri. And most of Sid Meiers games. This is The ultimate Sci-fi Strategy game. It has almost the exact same menus except with better graphics as Civ 2. You have to have it

MOO 2 will get you addicted, but in a good way.

I owned this game years ago. i have played many others like it but they never really filled the void that this game left behind. I own alot of strategy games and this one is my favorite. Fighters, Planet Destroyers, huge Tech tree. I really wished they would have expanded on it. I couldnt wait for MOO3 and then it turned out to be a bust. Its a great game and must have.

This was simply the best stragety sci-fi game ever made. The research, building on planets, customizing ships, and turn based gameplay (and battles) was the most enrapturing system I've ever played. I can't praise this game enough, I still play it over and over today. A gem from the time when computers were still new and awe inspiring for me.
