Very Different, but Basic Features.

Since my purchase of this game I can not stop playing it, but I have noticed that this game is really basic. I would like to buy add-ons but can not afford to purchase all of them to make this game more exciting for the experience. I recently purchase the Sims 2 although, I hope that this does not require you to purchase many other games to give that additional experience for the Sims 2. I am, however, interested in the Sims 2:Seasons. I will purchase that one.

So fun...it's addicting!

This game is very, very fun. I would honestly recommend it to anyone, for example, my 9 year old brother loves it, and so do I! It is so fun...it's addicting!

when i first got this game i couldnt fall asleep even tho my parents made me go 2 sleep.
i would sneek downstairs and play it it 4 hours
if u get this game dont do that i almost got grounded
so from there on i woke up like at 4 in the morning
i sleep alot but i woke up so early 2 play it

if u get this game do almost any job u can 2 get it
i had 2 pick up doggy-doo
but i hav every single game
and i anly need a couple more dollars 2 get the sims 2

if u dont get this game u dun noe wut ur missin

Well, after a great start, the game decided to crash on me, completely negating everything i did in the game which took a good 6 or 7 hours of non-stop playing. But that's just the beginning. When i decided that it was futile to try to continue, i did what anyone else would and attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game. First i had to reboot my system 3 times in order to get it to reinstall, then when it did get finished, it wouldn't start up. To add insult to injury, the "Hot Date" expansion pack did not want to install either. Folks, if y'all have a lot of time on your hands and want to do something fun, get the heck off the bandwagon and watch some paint dry. It may be boring, but paint is reliable enough to dry. I wouldn't waste the money for this game, but unfortunately i already have. It gets boring quick and only works when it wants to.

Well, I have to say that this game is very fun. I like it, but I'm not trying to boss you around like someone else that wrote a review. One review I saw not too long ago was "Buy It." I don't think that's right. It kind of helps you realize what it's like to be God, like the movie Bruce Almighty, except without the prayers. I'd say, it would be a wise choice if you bought this great game. I hope you find my review helpful.

This game doesn't have a set goal for you to reach, so unless you find yourself with hours of time to kill, this probably isn't as great as people have said. It's pretty fun, but a big time waster. If you let your people get depressed and they don't have a job, forget about it. They'll be too depressed to get happy and too depressed to find a job, so they'll just starve to death. Also, you spend WAY too much time telling them to clean up after themselves. Even on "auto" mode, they don't do much on their own. Stick with SimCity!

This is probably the most meaningless and booooring game I have ever played. Where is the fun of watching a guy bath, burp, eat like a pig and get deppressed because he doesn't have a 40' TV...unfortunatelly this illustrated the level of culture and lifestyle of America so well....that is the No. 1 selling game. People...think for yourselves...get a good book or at least buy a game that challenge your skills.

This is a really must hav sims package, The Sims original and Livin Large expansion and alotta of extra things. This is also my first ever sims cd i bought and i had a lot of fun wit it. Get it now and it's worth it.

The sims is a brillant game there is lots to do and always will have fun while playing the sims. It could be a made up family or it could put into real life like make your house and live in it with the person that you what to marry. It is a massive enjoyable game witch you will never get bored off. If you buy this game i promise that you will enjoy and have fun with it all the time.

Believe me, The Sims is a great game. You create your own family, pick out their house, buy all of the appliences etc., give them their own job.....what more could you want?

The graphics on this game are very good.....It's just that sometimes they're not. For instance, sometimes when my character walks from one place to another, he leaves behind....umm...how should I put this.....his feet. Yes, his feet. It is a glitch in the software. This can happen a lot. And it is not my computer because it is top-of-the-line. Also, the game usually stalls for a few seconds every hour or so.

The game can get very frustrating. For instance, if your character is depressed, I will tell him to go play the guitar or read or play the computer, but he says he is too depressed to do all of these things. IT can become difficult to get his fun up, and he will be less likely to get a promotion.

Overall, this game is good. It can be dragged on for hours. Sometimes, this is the kind of game where you sit back and watch, but sometimes it's not. It also gets repettative, or boring if you have had this game for a while. Everything seems the same, or, almost everything. Still, it is a great game, most likely one og the top ten greatest games ever made.....
