Addictive!

For someone who never plays video games, I was hooked from Day 2 (took a day to get to it since I'm always so busy!)
Oh my, you get sucked in! It's alomst scary how much you get involved in trying to control all these little lives in your virtual reality Simtown.... I had spent one whole weekend off playing nonstop (only stopping for bathroom breaks and a snack here and there) for almost 34 hours! That was when my Sim-mania was @ its worst, but anyone I know who has played this game understands the whole addiction thing. *chuckle* I have toned it way down, but have added 3 expansion packs and am getting ready to upgrade the newest expansion "Superstar" --- a fun game to play, definitely worth the $ for the starter Deluxe edition, the rest is just icing on the cake :) Have fun & Sim away!

I have been playing this game for 2 years non-stop and I never get tired of it. This is definately the best thing since sliced bread. It's not a game; it's an addiction.

Its soooooooooooooo fun! I could never get enough of it! The maker of The Sims must be a genius! Im planning to collect all of them! I hope they would make more and more and more! It's really cool. Overall, i LOVE it. Please, if you haven't tried it then try it! You'll LOVE it! TRUST ME! You'll never get tired of it! I wanna thank the maker of The Sims for making this game! I really love it! And last i want to thank Amazon for selling this game in an affordable price! I look forward to buying more!

The Sims will gives hours of fun and its pretty fun laughing at them fights and listening to their strange mixure of all of the human language .... Basically you create them, build their homes and run their life and ruin their life if you like. It a fun game and you get more furniture and and you can a make a sim face out of your photo it all in fun you will enjoy it. I am a sim head

This is the best game ever! The game is about little people called Sims. You create your Sims by choosing their clothes, face, gender, personality, etc. Tou then move them in to one of the five neighborhoods and build their house. Next you buy all sorts of items to meet your sims needs. My favorite items are: guitar, concoction set, srevo(a robot who does all the chores), and the hot tub. You then control their lives by clicking on a object and telling them what to do. It couldn't be easier! If you are thinking about buying this game go ahead and buy it. You won't regret it!!!!!

I am not a huge fan of action or shoot-'em up games. I tend to sway more to the strategy and simulation genre. I waited quite a while to put my hands on this game, as I heard the addictive qualities that The Sims possesed. Well, I broke down and finally grabbed it from my Gold Box on Amazon. When it arrived, I promptly spent 17 of 24 hours plopped in front of my computer slaving away to this game! I really enjoy it, but after mastering the day to day doldroms, what more is there?

don't understand the hype about the sims. you control people to do things. build houses, make friends, build skills, get money. amazing, what would they think of next.

It's a great game, except when you are always haveing to make them goto the bathroom, sleep etc.

This thing rocks. This is great a combo plus a new progam to make your own sim. 25 new objects 50 new clothing what else can i say....BUY THIS!!! NOW!!!!

Before you judge the sims play them first...
the are very expensive but its worth it you practicly rule them you tell them when to have a shower toilet etc.its like a normal life but in a computer.
For apliances you can get big screen t.v.s stainless steall fridges,dishwashers you find jobs for them and it depends on their moods if they get promoted or not some of the jobs include:business/entertainment/law enforcement/life of crime/medicine/military/politics/pro athlete/science/x-treme/music/slaker/paranormal/journalism/ and a hacker the sims can have babies and you can purcase the love bed and they can play in it and hot tubs they get married and they move in .
