Another expansion pack?

This game just keeps on getting more and more expansion packs! More expansion packs=more ways to mess up your computer. There has been 7 expansions thus far. When an expansion pack comes out for the sims another follows. Its crazy I tell you, CRAZY! Take my advice save some money and wait until the Sims 2 comes out!

The Sims' Expansion Packs; The Deluxe in particular

I purchased the first sims, living large, house party and hot date and just received sims vacation which I have not installed on my computer yet. I am completely happy with what I have but would have purchased the Sims Deluxe if I had not already purchased the original sims. I will not purchase the Deluxe just to get those other items and the Sims creator. I am saving my space for Sims Unleashed. I love the game immensely and can't wait to install Sims Vacation, hoping my couple's relationship will blossom once they go away on vacation. I had my computer upgraded to accomodate the Sims games.

This game is great..The only flaw is that you will we sitting in front of this computer screen for a very LONG time and it will hurt your eyes after awhile. This game is very addictive and fun at the samr time. You learn how to bugdet and date. It's worth the $40.00 that you have to spend. I'm thinking about getting the whole collection of the Sims...

Congrads to who ever made such a wonderful game come alive.

I have played many sims games but this is the best one yet. It has three expanshions/games on one disc. The Sims, Sim Creator and Sims livin large. There is a couple of great things about this game. 1.You don't need the orignal sims to install it on your computer. 2. It has the best selling exapnshin pack. 3. It has a creater you can create sim when your noy plaing,can use them in the game, plus you can make them as messed up as you want or as cool as you want. 4.If you get more expanshin packs you will only have to use the deluxe cd, (except sims unleashed). 5. It works with Windows XP. 6. It's fast to load to your computer. 7.)This has to do with #1, you can load on any expanshin pack and you won't need the sims because it has it on deluxe. 8. BECAUSE THIS GAME RULES.
Take it from me I would know. (:-) P.S. Livin large is an expanshin pack.

Cool Game

I just recieved The Sims Deluxe for my birthday, and I have to say this game is great. As everyone with reviews has said this game is where you simulate the lives of people, like when they go to the restroom, when the take baths, and when they eat and more! They also have many features that can change the way the games goes, like you can build, make the simulation time go faster and slower, and obviously buy stuff. You can take pictures too. At first I was confused on what to do and how to do it, but then as I played I learned what to do. If you were like me, and didn't know what to do then you could just have help things on and they would tell you what to do. It is a very easy game to understand, I got it in about 2 hours. A lot of people have said too that this is addictive, and it is. You are probably wondering why I am saying this game is great, but only gave it four stars: I am a windows XP user, and there are some things that don't work with my computer, it might not work with yours either. To play the game you need to be on the administrative user, but my dad has a user set up for me that I have to use. Whenever I want to play the game I have to get my mom or dad. Also, the arrows are just horrible, the mouse arrow thingies. For some reason whenever you move the mouse you have a bunch of arrows all over the place. And also, when you work with the control panel at the bottom of the screen you can't see the arrows. I don't know about you, but I need one arraow on the screen, no more, no less. Other than those thecnical difficulties this game is really good, and the difficulties are easy to get over.

just what i said, really disappointing to say the least, i have access to WIN XP and some others but.. it's still going to be a pain the arse.

A previous reviewer stated that the previous game and expansion packs would not work on Windows XP, that is not true, I have it and it works fine. If there's a problem it can be fixed by right clicking on the game icon, click the compatibility tab, and choose windows 98. That'll fix it.

But The Sims Mega Deluxe

This game is alot of fun! Although I wish I had saved my money and instead bought The Sims Mega Deluxe. I was hastey and wanted to try it out with the money I ahd so I bought this one. Needless to say I enjoyed it. Although now I understand I could have saved money if I had saved it and bought The Sims Mega Deluxe. All in all, the game is fun.

Sims have minds of there own. They will cook dinner, set the house on fire, feed the hampster, play pool, swim in the pool, go to work. I found it at first a bit hard to make money but once your sim gets a good job its pretty easy and you'll have money in no time. Although one thing I didn't like was that sims are always working. And they won't always listen if you want them to clean something up. Even if there in a perfectly happy mood.

Sim children will play, and be annoying. They often get lost (from your site) and they won't listen as much. It takes awhile for two sims to get to know each other and even longer for marridge. But still this game is awsomely cool.

Have you ever wanted to control a human? Well, now you can with The Sims. The Sims is a really cool game, however, you need a fast computer to make it work. Also, parents, you should be warned there are some inapropriate things in this game. I recommend it for everyone over 12.

Met all the system requirements to install this game but needless to say, was unable to open. Tried 3 separate times to install. The first time I gave the serial number on back of plastic container and it started to install but took FOREVER. Got frustrated and backed out. Tried again this morning and couldn't even get THAT FAR. What's the problem?
