Awful...awfully repitative

This game caught my interest at first as I walked around the town talking to its inhabitants of 20 people, getting to know each and every one of them, and then embarking on my first quest.

But my interest quickly fell through. All it is is going into one room, killing people, going into another room, killing people, and there's only one attack that you can really do unless you're a wizard...and you don't want to be one because they die quicker than a red shirt on "Star Trek." And I got tired of hanging around the same damn areas for what seemed like a millenium each.

Overall, I'm sorry I wasted $10 on this thing.

For such a small price, you can buy one of the greatest games of all time! WOW! Despite the fact that Diablo II is out and this game is a little dated, this game is one of the simplest hack-n-slash RPG's in existence. I love this game. Great story line, cool cinematics, great characters and simple gameplay make this a title that should be in every single computer gamers library! Get this now if you do not have it. As a rule of thumb, if the game is made by Blizzard, it is an essential game to own!

This game is a bonafide classic. Having said that, it has problems. First, you can only select difficulty levels in multiplayer mode, a drag for singleplayer fans like myself. Also, when I do play multiplayer it sucks because there is no way to restrict cheaters on Blizzards network, making it impossible to get anywhere. Hopefully that will be fixed in the sequel. Also, once you've beat the game with all the classes, there's not much to do after that. I hear that the sequel should fix that as well. Having said all this, until I beat it with all the classes and found everything, this game was definitely worth it. It takes hours to play, and is heavily addictive and enjoyable. There is plenty to do, and there is a little replay incentive in that the dungeon is different everytime you play. Yet there is only a certain number of different bossess you can face, so once you've seen them all then there's not much else. I suppose the multiplayer aspect would make it more interesting, but I'm not a big fan of multiplayer. At any rate, if you've never played this before, then its definitely worth the bucks. Make sure you play this one before you run out and get Diablo II, otherwise you won't know what's going on.

This is an awesome game; true, hackers and cheats have ruined a lot of the multi-player game, but there are guilds that you can join and play with non-cheaters. Diablo II is going to be awesome....

Everyone has got to try this game!

Diablo is just about the coolest game ever! I first played it over a friend's house and now I can't wait to buy it myself. It's kind of creepy though. As you move on to each floor, you never know what to expect...it always gets a little scary. I haven't gotten that far in the game, but my friend's uncle beat it...so it is possible. Anyone who likes suspence and doesn't mind becoming hooked, this is the game for you! It gets 5 stars on my Scale! :)

Ultimate Adventure game. Blizzard has the best team of programmers ever! I mean come on STARCRAFT? WARCRAFT? They are all great! Diablo has got to be one of my favorite games!

Diablo. A name that will forever remind me of many, many hours gaming. This has to be the greatest and most addicting game ever made. I strongly suggest that if you have the $20 to spend, you get Diablo.

It has many hours of gameplay and it never gets old. Multi-Player is also very fun. But, watch out for player-killers like myself.

Anyways, get the game. You won't reget it. It will be the greatest game youv'e ever played. But watch out for me on multi-play. Your ear my be the next I claim.

Best game on the market when it came out. I spent an entire vacation playing this game. I got my wife hooked on it and ewe both have played it for 3 years. I am usually bored to tears with a game in a few months. This lasted for 3 years and well....now it is losing its glamour....but I have informed my boss I am taking a couple extra days off when DiabloII hits my computer

This is a truely great RPG. With fairly easy system requirements. I really like the layout of the game. This is a game you can sitdown and play for hours! Not much else to say, just a great game!

I love this game! It is awesome! I got it and showed my friend and then he got it and showed it to his friend...and so on. The multiplayer is fabulous. I can't wait until the sequal comes out!
