Well if there was an ultimate re-playable game this is it. Diablo revolutionised the gaming indusrty and thought it was completed AGES ago people still play it.

Basically you're a character (Warrior, Rogue or sorcer) be prepared for fiteen gruelling levels of monsters of a shapes and sizes. With randomly generated monsters, quests and maos this game is replayable.

and when you've done the quests, ge ready for the final one Diablo the Lord of Destruction.

and of course you canm play with your friends on the Net. So come on! get it! This game is like only 6MB! and it's connected to battle net.
buy it and yo won't be dissapointed, until the sequel

Diablo is an awesome game.The graphics are awesome,and the bosses are really hard.Also i like the special things like a town portal that allows you to go back and forth from the town to the dungeon.The characters are good and they all have special abilities.Also the game is very good to play on the computer.Now at the price amazon is selling it for buy this awesome game.

This game is great for horror or gothic fantasy fans, and also enthusiasts of middle-age and medieval combat and weapons. All of the basic weapon types in the game are actually real, and have real names. Wonderful variety of weapons, armor, etc... and the many quests you must complete during the course of the game are thrilling. The gameplay and graphics are exceptional. This is the best game I have ever played, and look at the price! Also, great replay value, along with the several expansion packs now available.

This was an amazing game when I first got it... a million years ago or so. Funny thing is, they were talking about Diablo 2 in developement back then, but I didn't see it for at least another 2 and a half years...

If you happen to be running a computer that is older than dirt, go ahead and buy this game, I think it is great, but it is way past it's time. As a matter of fact, I think I saw someone playing it the last time I was in Amish country.

I am an on again off again gamer. So I went back to pick up Diablo which seems to blow everyone's mind. I don't get it. The graphics and game play are about on par with Ultima VIII which was released in 92 or 93.

This game is still good after all this time

It is okay but there is little plot and depth the weak plot revolves around the fighting not like with Baldur's Gate were all the fighting comes out of the plot that is the best ever in a game.

It's a dumb game, really. Basically a simple graphic version of internet games like Rogue or Nethack, you wander around a dungeon, kill creatures, find better weapons and armor, which enables you to kill more creatures.

But somehow it's incredibly addicting. I played it through as a warrior, and for three evenings straight cleaned out the dungeons. Wore out a mouse in the process.

It's not a game I'd return to, and it's not worth spending a lot of money. But at this price? Believe me, you''ll get your money's worth.

This game has so much going for it, but suffers from one major flaw.

Well, some of you may be wondering why I have given this an 8.0 when almost everyone else has given it 9.0-10. There are many things that would make this game superb but one thing that qualifies in my opinion as merely fair, that being the combat. The graphics are good for when they were made. Everything is voice acted, which really adds to the experience and is still a rare thing to have in a game to this day surprisingly enough. The music is perfect and creepy, it really adds to the atmosphere. The dungeons are well mapped out and are littered with evil enemies and disgusting bosses like the butcher. This would all be fantastic except for the combat. It is incredibly repetitive and boring. Sometimes it accomplishes its goal and becomes highly addictive, but overall I would say it is just boring. If you like dungeon crawlers you must play this game, if not, I honestly don't think I would recommend it with so many other great games out there.
