I'm a big fan of the Nancy Drew mystery games and Nancy Drew and the Haunted Carousel doesn't disappoint. Well, maybe a little. The story is good, game play is simple, but its too short. I got maybe 6 hours of game play out of it. If you're looking for a challenging adventure game, pass this up. If you're looking for a fun, easy, quick adventure, than this if for you. Perfect for kids.
Ghost Dogs rock..........

In this Nancy Drew Interactive Mystery game, Nancy Drew gets an internship as deputy curator in Washington D.C. at Beech Hill Museam. But just before the new Mayan exhibit is to be launched, one of the museam's most valuble artifacts is stolen! This game is super fun and one of the best Nancy Drew games avalible! It has some flaws with the plot, and sometimes gets a litte frustrating, but this game is still great. If you like challenging puzzles, and are intrested in learning a little more about ancient Maya life, this game is for you!!!

Well, this is my first time playing any Nancy Drew game. I am over the age of 10 and read the books when they first came out, so when my sister gave this to me for Christmas I was excited. The graphics are great the storyline terrific and the second chance is very useful! You don't have to restart the game when you make a slip of the mouse or choose incorrectly! I played all night one night I was so hooked. Haven't done that since I was a teenager! My husband decided to help me solve the cases too - so we had fun with the codes. A great game for all ages.
One of my Favorites!

Imagine this: you're snowbound in a fancy Wiconsin hotel where you're supposed to be on a ski vacation. The manager just told you someone vandalized the historic library... and you're one of the only four people who made it to the hotel! There's Lisa Ostrum, the journalist who seems a bit too eager to become your friend, Jacque Brunais, a ski instructor from France who just lost the Olympics and is convinced something in the hotel will restore his name, Professor Hotchkiss, an old French teacher who is convinced that Marie Antoinette was a good-hearted person and is destined to prove it, and Mr. Egan the hotel manager who apparently has a criminal record and ties to this hotel. Now you feel it's up to you, as Nancy Drew, to question suspects and unveil a new page in French history.
Out of the so far 13 Nancy Drew games, this one is one of my all-time favorites because the story is so good! This game was pratically flawless! You never got stuck on what to do, but you never breezed through it either! It requires just the right amount of skill, thought, and fun to crack this case. Way to go HerInteractive!
Too good to be true!

This is the best Nancy Drew game made so far. You as Nancy Drew are staying at wickford castle home of Marie Antionettes tower (all the way from France). You meet Dexter, the care taker who has a dark secret of his own(while the owner is away),Lisa, the photojournalist with many secrets up her sleave, Proffeser Hotchkiss, Would do anything to to prove Marie's inocent, and Jaque, a very cute olympic siker but is there more to him then you see? I would suggest that you get it cause theres a lot of places to explore and you learn alot about Marie Antionette.
Great Game!

This is a great computer game overall. It is my very favorite out of all I have played. You are trapped inside an inn that has a French secret and you are anxious to find what it is. The culprit is somewhere in the castle, and you have many suspects- they all look quite suspicious to me. From Jaques and Lisa not talking, to fifty chicken drumsticks, to Dexter's strange history- this game is challenging! I recommend it to you. The castle may be long, but once you get used to it, it is a breeze. Basically, at first glance you don't think this game has a problem. But it does. Someone even bonkes you on the head at one point!

I was so excited when I received SSH on my birthday. This game is definately a step up on the difficulty level for the Nancy Drew games, but it is definately worth it. If you've played any of the Nancy Drew games, you'll understand what I mean. There may be more tasks and puzzles to solve, but they are all worth it for the last scene in the game. (which I won't give away). SSH is definately worth your money, and with two difficulty levels, you can play it over and over again. Two thumbs up!!!!

This was my favorite Nancy Drew. I loved the level of difficulty - pretty difficult but not frustrating. The Mayan setting was really cool, the music and ambiance really drew you into the game and the plot was interesting and complex. The puzzles made a lot of sense. I loved this game!
