I am the mother of an eight-year old boy who is dictating this review. He has played every one game up to Danger on Deception Island. Next to Danger on Deception Island, this was his favourite game. Your suspects are: Em, who owns a general store; a snobby park ranger; and an odd bird watcher. The house you are in has many mazes and used to be owned by a gangster who had four dogs: Vitus, Iggy, Lucy and Xander. You get to visit a speakeasy, cemetary, Em's Emporium and the ranger station. It's a lot of fun and spooky, too.

way too easy

I was surprised by how easy the game was. I have played all the other nacny drew games and they were much more of a chalenge. Either that or I'm just getting better at her games.

I've got to say; you have to have an interest in ancient culture to play this game. It gets pretty boring otherwise. Also, I am stuck at the part of the cave where you have to answer what Pacal was afraid of. I tried talking to the hospital-bound what's-his-name, but he didn't know and now the hospital is closed, apparently never to open again. This must be a glitch of some sort and it really annoyed me! This game is nearly impossible so you HAVE to use a hint website--overall, I think, the worst of the Nancy Drew games I've played so far.

This is a Kid's Game??

This game was a little too hard for my tastes. Despite the fact that I played at the junior level I managed to get killed shortly after starting out. I also had to restart the game to figure out what my room number was because once I left the room I couldn't find my way back (all the corridors look alike). So far I've fallen down an elevator shaft, gotten caught breaking and entering, been crushed by an elevator, frozen to death and been hit over the head...I've got to ask is this really appropriate for children?

This was an ok game. It wasn't as good as the other games I have played. It had a fun plot, but it got kind of boring as I continued to play it. The "3-Days" idea got a little annoying after a while. But, still this game pretty good.

boring

This game is so boring. All you do is try to find things and get the mystery solved before it is too late. It's hard to even get a few clues and the person who got most clues were my baby sistter who is older then me!!!!!! Plese do not waist your money on this game.

I am extremely annoyed by this game

I was hesitant about buying any of these Nancy Drew CD-ROMs because I was never any good at solving the mysteries in the books. The only reason I finally decided to purchase one of them was because the package said that the game had built in hints if you wanted them. That statement is completely misleading. The only built in hints the game has is Bess, Ned, and George telling you to question all of the suspects. I'm not so stupid that I can't figure out on my own that I should question the suspects. The hints on the company's website was of no help to me. I was able to do on my own what the website tells you to do. The stupid company doesn't give hints to the harder clues because they want you to buy their solution guide. Which I admit I'll probably end up buying it, if I don't get mad and break the cd first, but I know one thing. The Final Scene is my first and last of their products that I will buy.

okay

Its too long and drawn out. You have to click on too many items just to figure out a single clue. I got bored eventually.

Must play
