A must have for flight simulator lovers!!!
Missions will definately drive you to the edge of your capabilities...It'll take time to polish skills as a combat pilot, but is OK 'cause they train you big time.
Control settings made in heaven!! Flight is so smooth it lets you
manoeuvre with total control. It feels so realistic plus the outstanding graphics enhance this sensation.
Just play it!!!

Everything about this game is good except that it is a little too easy and is during Episode I. Other than that it has cool levels, awesome graphics and sound, and great controls. If only it was set during the original trilogy would it be perfect. I would say it is the best SW game along with Rogue Squadron. I'd rent it first since you probably will beat it in a few days.

This game by far has shown the real power of the PS2. The graphics are unreal and the game play it self is userfriendly as well challanging. If you are a Star Wars fan or flighing simulation fan...this is a game you must have. The story line is great which weaves into the story line of Episode I: The Phantom Mentace but don't worry....no JarJar...okeeday? Good.

You have about 14 missions. Some short yet some long and challanging. You have to worry about air cover as well of ground cover as a escort or to detroy pesky Trade Federation AATs. I suggest this game to everyone of all ages. GREAT GAME!!!!!! I would right more but I could write about 3 pages for this review.

This game is awesome. It has great graphics, cool levels and lots of action. There's just one problem for ps2 owners, Lucasarts has decided to make Star Wars Starfighter special edition for the Xbox with "enhanced graphics", so they say, and more bonas missions. Now, for people like me who might not get an xbox and even if I did I wouldn't get the same game if I already had it, that's pretty irritating.

I've played the demo of this game and I do like it, but it's hard for me to control. I can never get the plane to stop completely, and have a hard time not crashing into rocks while trying to destroy enemies on the ground. It's fun blowing up the things, but at times it is frustrating.

I wasn't impressed neither with the game play w/ Starfighter nor the difficulty of the game. I thought Rogue Leader PC version game and it's sequel for Gamecube is three times better in plot, graphics, and gameplay. In my eyes, this was a dissappointment to Lucas fans. Games like Jedi Knight Two: Jedi Outcast, Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, and Bouty Hunter, so far, are the best.
