I'm a huge RE fan so when I got my Ps2 I wanted to get a resident evil game. There was only one problem, Capcom sold all it's Resident games to that lil' childish box called the gamecube. So I got Re:CVX. Let me tell you I was very impressed. The graphix are beautiful, the controls take about 10 minutes to get used to, The voice acting is good, not perfect, but you won't even notice it, The storyline is very compelling, and the fun factor is the best I've ever experienced. A couple of times I thought I had only been playing the game for half an hour and it turned out I had been sitting there playing for two hours! So if you're an Re fan stop reading this review and go get this game! It is a great RE experience

Wow this is the first Resident Evil game I bought and it was a very good choice a good price about 20 bucks and great graphics and story fills up a lot of the loose ends in the story any Resident Evil fan will want to buy this one the game is pretty difficult in some parts you get to take control of Claire,Chris or sometimes Steve a new charecter anyone who followed Claires adventure in Resident Evil 2 will want this game the controls are pretty much the same and they arent's that bad once you get used to them and the graphics never cease to impress also ammo isn't too big of an issue in this one so long as you don't go wild with it and your fav monsters are back zombies(of course),hunters, giant worms, tyrant,Wesker a truly great game worth picking up especially with the Devil May Cry demo and all
Great Game From RE Fan!

I must say that this game is great! First of all I see many people complain about the controls on it. But just think that it is way better then walking when you play RE2 with Claire. In RE2 when you just walk straight for some reason you start going sideways when you are walking straight. With RE Code when you walk straight you go straight which is great. This game and the story line is out of this world I think they did a great job on what of her reasons of being on that island and what is her mission. The graphics are excellent. They really do the zombies, beast, monsters, and people in great texture. It's a great game and I loved every minute of it. You must buy this game and see the story unfold. I give this a 5 star. I'd always liked RE games. The blood, gore, and terror of this heart beating game makes it have the best reputation in horror. I reccomend it for terror lovers like me. Don't have anything else to say but to try it. Want my advice? Turn off all the lights and get ready to bust the hell out of those zombies!!!
real fun

This is one of the best games ever, you won't regret the money you paid, pretty horrifyng game and great cut scenes. The problem is with the motion and movement in addition to saving the game you need to reach a typewriter. But from my point of view i strongly recommend this game.

I just got into the Resident Evil series about a year ago, when my brother bought RE1 for about a buck at a garage sale. He put it in, and instantly gave up because of the camera and control scheme. So, he said I could have it. I gave it a chance and eventually got used to it, and loved every moment of it. Later on I bought a used RE2 game for a very cheap price and it became my favorite game(excluding the Grand Theft Autos and RE4). Now that I had played a few of the classics, I wanted to try one with good graphics. RE:CVX was the best rated PS2 RE game, since all i have is a PS2.
The graphics in this game are incredible! I thought it was still a cutscene when the game actually started. I only have 2 problems with the RE series.
1. Bad Camera Angles
2. HORRIBLE voice acting
The clumsy cameras are still around. But, some cameras actually pivot and move. And I can't even say how awful Steve Burnside's voice acting was.
Everything else that you love about the series is in this game (unless of course you're not a fan). Scary monsters, atmosphere, music, and a compelling storyline. And I'm not complaining about the controls, because eventually you have to learn to get used to them and I already have. All around this is a gaming work of art. YAY! Resident Evil 4 is on the PS2 now! Now that is definitely my favorite game, except of course it has nothing at all to with Umbrella and the T, V ,G bla bla bla viruses. Thanks Capcom! PLEASE BRING MORE RESIDENT EVILS TO THE PS2!
Hardest RE Game Yet!!!!

Re Code Veronica X was a very tough game, i got so pissed off from minute to minute because of the many enemies that attack you from left to right.
Re Code Veronica takes place after RE 2, Claire Redfield inhabits a umbrella corp. lab in europe and gets captured. There she is taken to a european prison on the island somewhere. She there meets Steve Burnside who is another prisoner of the island. You find out his family was killed by Umrella and he wants revenge. Claire tells steve she is there to find her lost brother Chris Refield. through out the game you also meet alexander and alexia ashoford, grandchildren of umbrella's founders. you also discover Wesker is back and wants alexia body so he can get the virus sample from her.
You can later on play as Chris which is good yet it gets harder when you do as the enemies get stronger and different. You battle different bosses, do puzzle, and other cool stuff. but i must WARN you that there are a number of things that will frustate you and make you mad.
FRUSTRATING THINGS: 1. the enemies take forever to kill and take many rounds to exterminate plus being in small numbers they are hard and will piss you the hell off.
2. The puzzles will get to you and there are some puzzles where if you do not do them right, you will die and game over, this also will piss you the hell off.
3. Lastly, the bosses take a while to beat, being some hints of how to beat them lying around, you will have to figure the best strategy for their defeat. this also will piss you off entirely.
Excluding wanting to break the controller and throw your PS2 out the window, it is a great game with a good plot, cool weapons, cool environments, and very cool cutscenes. NOTE: THE PS2 VERSION HAS SOME EXTRA CUTSCENES THAT SPICES UP THE GAME.
after beating it and having the good feeling of defeating the challenge, you go though a deal of cool cutscenes and unlock a few good things. You can unlock a special 'battle game' where you can choose a character from the main game and go on a small adventure with unlimited ammo through random rooms and destroy the creatures.
The game also gives you a special demo disc of 'devil may cry' as well which is quite neat to play...
Overall, i give it four stars for being such a indepth game and a joyous one at that. RE CODE VERONICA X is a must buy for any hardcore fan of the RE series, hardcore gamer, or anyone who likes horror/ shoote em up type games... you wont be disappointed. :)
