This game is really good it has a resonable selection of airplanes and weapons. although the caroon movies are very corny you can skip them and get straight into the action. the system of the better you do the more money you get is great. with this system what type of plane you get is souly up to you. this is the best console flight simulater i have ever played.

This is a good game for people who like flying and war.
This game is so good I play it about every day!
The movies about the boy who stays at a enemy base are really cool! Namco did a good job about Stonehenge and what it was used for. I'm on mission 14. The mission where you had to destory Stonehenge was fun, although the first time I tried it I completed it! This is the best out of all the PS2 games!!!

This game is definetly one to own.The visuals are just incredible.The aircraft are modeled with such great detail there are almost indestinguishable from the real thing.Missiles leave realistic contrails, and the water even splashes around when ou fly feet off the surface of the water.There is a good amount of aircraft to choose from, with each having there own arsenal to choose from.I definetly recommend this game for fighter jocks!

A must have for the player of the air combat genre.

Everything about this game was done perfectly. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is exactly what you'd come to expect from the 4th edition of the series.

However, the 2 player mode is very lacking. The inability to change the view while playing with another person can almost ruin it for anyone who prefers the other views.

I like the game so much that I played it through on all difficulties to get enough cash to unlock ever single plane (Including the awesome X-02).

BUY THIS GAME IT IS NOT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Acecombat4 shattered skies is a game that is very cool.It has very good graphics.It is very fun to play, but if you want to buy it you better have a memory card for PS2.I'm only on level 5 but I'd say that this game is good for kids 8 and up.you can get about 12 different jets and wepons.this game is action packed you can also lock onto bad jets and blow them out of the sky.
Parents this is a good game to buy for yourself and for your familys.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Ace Combat series. I own the previous 3 for the original Playstation, so it was just natural 2 pick this 1 up after it came out...thank GOD I did! The graphics R awesome, (U do enough loppty loops and U'll B extremely air sick), and the overall concept and story R great as well. If your N 2 flight sims., then this is the game 4 U!

I love the story line and the graphics and gameplay are great. I don't understand how the Eurusians where able to knock the ISAF all the way to North Point because once you destroy Stonehenge they start retreating like there is no tomorrow but this game rules maybe to much if it wasn't for this game and dynasty warriors 3 i wouldn't be on academic probation from college lol its ok i can get a 2.0

This is one of the best flight simulators, every time you pass a mission you get money to buy more planes and jets and weapons to put on the aircrafts. There air different aircraft for different missions and even some hidden aircraft but I havenýt gotten those yet. The graphics for the plains are awesome but for the rest of the game they [aren't]. The buildings I guess kind of resemble buildings and the tanks, well I just trusted my radar and missile guidance system to help me find those.

The story to the game is cool, I think it would be World War 3 or what World War 2 would look like if it were now a days. It takes your through the start of the war and into the finish of the war. One cool thing about the game is that every time you complete a mission your reputation goes up and you over here enemy radio saying the ribbon fighter (Your character) is above them. So basically you feared by the enemy and loved by your troops.

The game is a really cool I recommend it.

This game has a ton of really cool jets including the Stealth Attacker!!! Challinging and fun a the same time!!! There are 18 missions that you get paid at the end of!!! You use this mony to buy jets and wepons!!! There is even a story that goes along with the game!!! Great 2 player mode!!! This game also has awsome grafics!!! So buy the best game in the world, Ace Combat 4!!!

this game is the best. i think it's my favorite game of a collection of almost 20. this is my first flight game, but im sure that it beats top gun combat zones. one of the down sides is the multiplayer [...] because the missles are super easy to dodge. the graphics are about as real as a next-gen console can get. jets are beautiful and enviornments are nice and colorful. framerate looks about sixty.destroying ground targets is kind of a drag, but after you beat the game once then you can select any level that you enjoy. there are plenty of aircrafts each with a few special weapons. although the jets are supposed to vary in stats, i dont seem to know the difference at all during flight, so i just use the ones that look stylish. this game is cheap enough to buy with the coins you find under your couch, so buy it.
