This game is really good, the special weapons u can buy are awsome! The planes look cool and pretty realistic, the graphics look real! I didnt give it a 5 star cause u cant sell default weapons and the default plane to make some money.(u dont even use them anyway) With the money you can buy new planes and new special weapons. What i like about this game is that during a mission you can land and get ur plane fixed and get different weapons if you want to. There is 18 missions so go buy it and have fun!

This is a great game. For a $19.99 game it has great grafics. 2 missles blow your plane up. Dont listen to the guy who said the planes have bad armor because real planes blow up after 1 missle. If you like combat flight simulators you will probably like Ace combat 4.

This game is the coolest fighter game out there. Nothing matches its graphics and story line. Must have for any gamer, big or small talent. Only down side is I beat it in 5 hours.

this airplane combat game is the best of all time. it has so many weapons to choose from, and so many aircrafts. for someone that is into aircrafts a lot, this is the game that is recommended for u. the graphics are freakin real, and so is everything else. all in all, this game is great.

The ace combat 4 shaterd skys os a real good game to by it has thebest selection of aircraft and is real easy to learn to fly you have 25 different missions and aircraft to fly i love it

This is a great game. It is kind of easy. I beat it over 10 times in less than 1 year. You can get different planes and paint jobs. It has great grafics for a $19.99 game. If you like flying and combat games this is a good one to buy.

This is one of the few flight sim fixes you can get on the PS2, but flight sim fans be warned, this is not a true flight sim. It's a bit "arcadie" to be a sim.

I liked this game right up to the second to the last battle. The whole "Megalith" thing rubbed me the wrong way. In fact, so did the Stone Henge thing too. I would have prefered more realistic campaignes.

What it comes down to is this is a warning for flight sim fans to rent this title first.

I liked playing Ace Combat 4. The problems I had, the story never made since to me?? I believe they could have made a better story, and made it more of a movie, not a cartoon. Also the flying model is the same for all the planes. The sound is very good, and the eye candy is off the charts!!! I like watching the replays, but what makes this game lack is the planes being the same. There is no way that that an f-4 can take on an f-16 in close combat. The f-16 Falcon would out maneuver the f-4 phantom with the pilot not breaking a sweat. Playing with Two people is fun, but you can not change the view, you're stuck with one view for the two player missions. The combat is easy, I have never been shot down buy a computer enemy, even with the AI turned all the way up to hard. The only time I lost a mission, was when I smacked into the ground, or in a wall. Dodging the enemy missiles are so easy, that you will never have to worry about being hit by one. All in all, I gave the game a 4 only because, its fun playing, being an arcade type flying game. But if you're looking for realism. Then stick with flying computer flying sims, because this game is nothing more than a Arcade game that you can play for 50 cents.

this game rocks. It has actual military aircraft and weapons. getting and spending money is easier than selling lemonade and going to target or wal-mart. It has a customizeable (not sure that's a word? don't worry, i don't think it is either) game settings and difficulty. It's missions are amazing, but short. only 18 levels. but, they are hard, no matter what difficulty setting. and, if you're not used to a fly-by-fighting game, don't worry, they included a tutorial that helps alot. and, for all those people that love embarassing they're friends/family, the game has a multiplayer game where you can play with aircraft and weapons that you bought and about 5 or 6 levels with features including dogfight, kill a.i. aircraft, kill a.i. ground stations/tanks, and somehting else that i forgot since my friend rented and i don't have it right now. this game is awesome, but to those not used to the ps2 controls, take a raincheck on this game, but get it as soon as u do get used to the controls.

Well, I was thinking about getting this game, and I was wondering if it had a multiplayer mode, and if so, how many can play? I know this isn't a review, but If anybody knows, you guys will. I'm sure this game is great, everybody who reads this should buy it!
