This Game Is The Best! Its Really Scary has Great Storyline and is fun to the end. Your Harry Mason a tourist that comes to Silent Hill For a vacation with his daughter. He arrives in a car crash in Silent Hill. With his daughter missing. He goes off to find her and see's many scary things. For instance you see little babies or midgets with knifes tring to kill you. I call them Crack Babies.I call them that cause their small and are crazy little freaks.Well next you meet Sibil a chick cop here to help you. Well thats the start of the game for you.I don't want to ruin the game for u cool dudes so ill stop. This is a must own game. Don't listen to the idiots who say this game sucks cause it doesnt. You will be scared and in for a challenge. ...

This was the best game I have played in a long time. I couldn't put it down. Just to see around the next corner scared me enough with the dark scenes and spooky music. The designers put alot of effort into the game and it paid off. Well worth buying. Bad part though: Is understanding the games story plot, you might need a walkthrough to help out here and there on some of the tough to figure out stuff but they are available on the web. There is even a part where a creature hangs from the celing and you can't see him but hear him breathe and druel mixed with blood hit the ground. This was just freaky! Have fun and don't forget to keep the lights on or turn them off if you are brave enough!

I bought this two months ago, but I still haven't played it yet. I also have Resident Evil 2 & 3, I'm playing these first(I got through Leon's part, the problem is I can't stop playing Madden and NCAA 2002 on my PS2 to play these games), anyway, I played the Silent Hill for a couple of minutes to see if I wanted to play RE or it first, I'm tellin ya, Silent Hill just FREAKED ME OUT, just going down that dark alley, Hill has a better creep out factor than RE(RE is scary at some points, don't get me wrong). I can't wait to play Silent Hill so I can play Silent Hill 2 which I have also!

Wanna shake your bones? Don't want to sleep? Wanna see shadows everywhere? This is the game, my friend. Scary as hell. Resident Evil, maybe, is a little bit better (the first one), but the second game ever (for me) is Silent Hill. Buy it here... or in hell!

creepy..yes ..scary...yes... fun ...oh hell yeah
this game is a freak of survival horror and it is near perfect
it is scarier than any movie or game ever, if you play with a dual shock and with the lights out and the sound up you will freak out ..

this is not for the weak this game is hard and violent
but it is also great!

A friend loaned me his SILENT HILL game to play on my new and unused Play Station. That was about a year and a half ago. Now, the poor Play Station gets no rest. Being my first game of the kind, I was amazed and intrigued. I never saw or played a game such as this. Naturally, it took me a while to get familiarized with controlling Harry.
The one thing about this game is that I was in the dark all the time and I didn't like that very much. I'll bet that if I turned up my brightness on my TV it would have been OK but what did I know, after all it was my first game. When I started to play, my grandaughter watched me and enjoyed it. After a while she started to bring her friends in and they started to help me get through the hard parts. HA!! So they say. There were six kids ranging from ages eight to nine. They hid their eyes an awful lot because things that went bump in the night scared them. After a while I got used to the controls and we got a little better at playing SILENT HILL. I can't wait for my son's friend to get done with SILENT HILL 2. I have a Play Station 2 that hasn't been taken out of the crate yet. Hopefully it will come out to play soon. I am so afraid to buy games for fear that they are not good ones that I will enjoy. I was lucky in getting excellent games the first and second time out. This didn't only scare the kiddies but gave me a fright or two. I love that element of surprise.
What more can I say, this is a great game and can't wait for #2. Oh yes, even though I borrowed SILENT HILL from a friend I recently purchased a used one so that I would have it for myself to play again in the future. I guess I liked the game, huh?

Silent Hill. Long has it been known to me. Long has it also been the most terrifying game in existence. The mere thought of this game has kept me up all hours of the night. What Konami has done with this game is truly incredible. The way the game can damage one's psyche is truly what frightens me the most. I recommend this game to all. I only leave you with one piece of advice. DO NOT PLAY THIS AT NIGHT. Other than that, enjoy the game. I grew to respect Harry Mason and I respect his lack of fear whilst he searched for his daughter. I hope you will too.

When I first played Silent Hill I was intriqued by the opening sequence aka video intro...But when the game started,I was impressed by the fog that was in it..Not to mention the story line...Konami did a good job on this game in all the following areas: Game Play---Dialogue--- Story Line---Action---Suspense--not to mention the Horror..I give this game a high 5 stars...I would suggest all survival horror gamers to buy this game...Its defintly worth the price and more....SILENT HILL IS 2ND BEST GAME KONAMI HAS OUT....Resident Evil games are also worth Purchasing..I enjoy Silent Hill and Resident Evil games...So pick them up for your horror collection..You wont regret it..

I remember when I first heared about Silent Hill.
I was Young And my brother and his freind always
played it and they always told me "go to bed now
because we are going to play a scary game". Then
a year later I when to a store to buy a game then
I saw it sitting right on the shelf a gray game
cd holder with the words "Silent Hill" Written
on the front.I bought it went home and beat it.
I was hooked I knew this game was different it was
so complexed i beat it over and over every time
Unlocking Somthing New a new ending a new waepon
No game would ever come close to it.I fear that game it is
so Scary and so Disturbing i was Shocked.
That that game is a masterpeice. Its Insulting when people
even compare Resident Evil to Silent Hill
No game will ever come Close to it.

i love this game.
it is scary.....sad.....and just the best ever.
the stoy line will have you hooked.
it claws at your emotions.
the sound if off the wall freakie.
the graphics are very good.
They picked good voice actors.
I do not sugguest this game to anyone who scares easly.
other then that PLAY THIS GAME~
