Final Fantasy IX was without a doubt, one of the best games I ever played...right down to tears at the end. Not so hard you became fustrated during play time..Just great fun and
unbelievable graphics and sound.

Most people either say that they hate it or they love it as do they with FFVIII. One thing that was good about this Final Fantasy was that it was a little different but with the same characteristics. The characters were a fresh and new idea to the previous Final Fantasy's. Even though it had some of the same principles such as battle system (similar to that of FFVIJ). Overall I think that it has a good story to it, but not the best villan ever. Also it has some pretty sweet action sequences, probably the best on the PSX.

A dude who was hooked on this game.

This game is the best. It's the first of the Final Fantasy games I played. I was hooked on it when I first played it on my cousins Playstation. To me I like to fight with Zidani and Vivi. Vivi is really a strong black mage. Garnet and Schiener are okay to but I like Zidani and Vivi better. Trust buy this game right away, you won't be disappionted!

I really love this game me and my friends both have Final Fantasy 9 and it has us screaming at the tv! And it's not for a bad reason it's for a good reason, for how we find out awsome powers that Zadaine or whatever you want to call him has. This game is worth getting! If you have the money go and beg your mom or your dad to bring you to go get it!!!:>) Or get it for that special christmas santa clause! LOL!

This game is very fun. I went out to buy it without having any experiances or knowledge of any Final Fantasy games. When I played it, the begining was a little boring because this requires some thinking and also because there wasnt many battles at first. But then it gets sooo much better!! You get to meet new characters, and even play them. Sometimes when it is important, you might take over one of your other characters instead of your main characters. There are three discs and all are long, and very interesting. I dont mean to brag but, I beat this game 4 times and havent gotten bored till now. (I found a new game! he he!) This game is very fun and belive it oor not... I thought this game was a little emotional. I laughed a couple of times, and what was very weird... when i battle bosses, I started shivering. (STOP LAUGHING! hah. just joking.) it mustov got me nervous because I didnt want to lose and i knew it would give me a hard time. I really like Vivi out of all the characters. He's a great mage but..i think something's wrong with his shoes... In every disc, he HAS to fall at least 3 times. (he he. it's true.) I strongly recommend this to any Final Fantasy player or anyone one else who doesn't know any kind of Final Fantasy game like me. (just for curious people, i also wrote a review on Animal Crossing. check it out.) by the way.., i wouldnt cheat on FFIX because it will just screw up the characters and it wont be fun.

Well, I have to say FF IX is my favorite final fantasy so far.
The artwork is excellent, and the characters quickly grow on you.
The environments you explore are breathtaking. You really feel like your part of a grand quest. This is the most fun I have had with a video game in ages. The sound track is also a joy, its sometimes dreamy,sometimes romantic,sometimes frightening.
Nobuo Uematsu, the legendary FF composer really out did himself.
So what are you waiting for its only $20!

This game rules except for the cute little characters. The fighting is great and it lets u earn money with odd jobs. I give it a 9 out of 10.

It is good to see Square recover from the doomed sin of that last FF8 game and come to light with this epic!!! From the start the game has you hooked, and the motion picture beginning is breathtaking to the max!!! Hey, the ending had me out of my seat as well- I can't spoil it for you but it is worth every minute. The gameplay, characters and music are back to the original Final Fantasy promise, and is a great way to say bye-bye to the PSone. More than five stars!!!

The best FF of the three for Playstation

The first time I've ever played a FINAL FANTASY game was at my friends and ever since then I loved every game in the series. Fianl Fantasy 7 was the best when I first played it it had a good story line and the characters showed good emotion. Final Fantasy 8 was a little disipointing. I was hoping for a good game when all I got was a confusing Junction system and difficult storyline. Final Fantasy 9 is the best game of the series. It is a must buy for anybody who is a biginning FF fan or a diehard FF fan. It has a great storyline and the battle system is real easy to understand. If you don't like the old FF game make sure and try this one out its the best game of the three.

Only FF7 is better!

Great game, lost it had to repurchase and glad they had still.

Still play it (on my PS3 lol) and still love it.
