FF 9 has a good story line, the animations are captivating and tells the story perfectly. The character in the game is no doubt awesome and at about disc 3+4, when you become more powerful and learn more ability, it really get intense. The card game and chocobo mini game is flawless and can keep you up for hours. The only complaint I have of this FF 9 is that it's simply too easy, this game is child's play. The only thing I can truly say is that is slightly difficult is fighting the two last boss, and they are nothing compare to some of the baddies I've fought in other games. Hardest place = Check out (Vile Island). I know you will buy this game if you're a FF fan like me, but if you're not and you're looking for challenge, pass...

The Battle System Is Great But The Gameplay Graphics Stink. There Are New Weapons, Abilities, And Summons. There Are Over 100 Weapons And New Abilities In This Game.

I have a friend who likes this game. I thought It was really cool the graphics were really cool. It is a game I will buy one day. I give it a 4 star rating. It would be 5 if it was made for computers! When or if it comes out for a computer then I will definetly buy. Or have my parents buy it for me!!

I think this game is a lot of fun. It is a little bit like Final Fantasy 7. In fact I found at least one song that was stolen from Final Fantasy 7. But the story line is very different. The only thing that disappointed me where the graphics, I think Final Fantasy 8 graphics where better. The screens load pretty fast, but it might just be because I have a playstation 2. Over all I think it is a very good edition to the Final Fantasy collection. I highly suggest you buy it!

Well, well. Square has suprised me greatly with this game. Back to the old stuff. I like that. Now, I haven't found out yet, so can someone tell me if there is a "call" command like in FFT? All the same, from my POV, this is great. BUY IT, OR SUFFER MY WRATH!!

While some older audiences may be turned away by the child-like characterization of some chracters, and while the game itself does not boast the graphics found in FFVIII, FFIX not only stands alone in the series, it surpasses the qualities found in previous Final Fantasy titles.

I am a big fan of RPGs and this is one of my favorite one yet. It has a great story line and it is not impossible to beat.

I got this game a few months ago and I beat it in less then a month. It's amazing and I love the storyline. It is not a kid game and the graphic are really good for a PS1 game. You'll just love the characters, it's really hard not to and when it's all over you'll be kinda sad. This game really gets a lot of hate and it shouldn't, it's just as good as any other final fantasy games. I'm not gonna spoil the story for anyone, but if you buy it you won't regret it.
