I am warning you. You will get addicted to Diablo II. The game will pull you into a different world that won't take the usual 10 or so hours to beat. It's multiplayer mode lets you defeat deamons with other Mac&PC users all over the net, adding more to the depth of this game. Watch out, you will find yourself adding more and more powerful weapons and spells to your character each and every day, bringing you further and further to the point where you will eat, sleep, and dream DIABLO II!

You have been warned...

A friend of mine came back one day with a copy of diablo2, and told me I had to try it. now i am addicted, and totally amazed.

this is the first rpg I have ever played, and I am extremely impressed, i want nothing more than for my barbarian to bash everything to pieces.

this entire game is extremely well polished and the time it took for them to ship for the mac is also spectacular. Get this game macusers, Well done Blizzard

A sequel to the award winning Diablo with or without the expansion pack from Sierra's Hellfire. The most awaited game of the year with 5 new class of heroes to choose from and weapons (spells ans etc.). A MUST BUY GAME OF THE YEAR!

I am a Big Big blizzard fan and i just have to say this game will Blow you away.The graphics look a lot better than the first diablo.You also get to choose form 5 diffrent character class.When you play diablo youn are glued to your seat and you feel like you are actually in the game.So I strongly recomend that you save up your pennies and BUY IT NOW!

...I finally broke out of the hyptnotization that the game had gotten me into, and now I realize this game for what it is...I didn't like the game...battle.net is a JOKE. Yeah, you heard me. B.net gets about as FAR AWAY from 'quality' as you can GET. Yeah, I just love getting disconnected every 5 minutes and racing straight into the Black Wall of Death, and not seeing my messages appear for 5 minutes, and not being able to pick up items!

For another, this game gets extremely tedious after your first month. It's fun, and then, after you've beaten the game 60 times, you realize it for what it is- clicking. Over and over. Then clicking some more. OH GOD THE CLICKING NEVER STOPS. EVEN IN MY HEAD. AAAARRGHHH ITS DRIVING ME INSANE.
Really, though, I can almost guarantee that for 60% of you, in 6 months, you will no longer be playing. Either that or you will have gone insane by the CONSTANT CLICKING ...This is not an RPG, not by a long shot. About the only thing it has in common with an RPG is choosing classes and experience points. For one thing, it has none of the complexity that many loved RPGs have. Some of us LIKE flipping through inch-thick manuals, thinking 'OMGZ THIS IS SO COOL'. Plus, I have not seen a SINGLE person role-playing...Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And this game is an enjoyable, wonderful game...for the first 3-5 months. Then the varnish all soaks off and you see the paint falling off the wood.

I would suggest buying this used, or waiting until it's somewhat lower priced...because you probably won't be playing it for a long time in the long run. ...

For the extreamly lenghtly wait, I cannot beleive how bad this game turned out... the graphics are ok. the skills and spells are good, the cinematics are amazing, But this game is one level then 3 repetitive levels of the first one. you loose interest in it because its like doing the same thing througho0ut the game... daiblo one was my fave rpg, and still is. For such a long wait I was highly disapointed

Diablo 2 is no technical marvel. It is limited to 640 x 480 in 256 colors, and doesn't have a customizable character, it has sort of limited itself. The gameplay hasn't improved much from the original, as far as I can tell. Diablo 2 simply doesn't match up to the standards that Diablo 1 helped to set. I wish I had waited until the price came down. This is not [worth the $], in my opinion.

I have to say the only thing wrong with this software is its lack of quality control. I own a TNT card, and even after the 1.01 patch and the new drivers for the card, it is still buggy. Coupled with a new save feature that respawns all your enemies when you save. Blizzard needs to fix the bugs and the save features, because after crashing every 10 min, you would be upset.

This game is awesome! I have the game for PC and it rocks! All you Mac owners will love this game. You should a copy Today! If you liked games Like Nox, Bauldar's Gate, and EverQuest I know for a fact that you will love this game! Buy a copy today!

Do I really need this much practice with the mouse?

Point, click, point, click, point, click. Need I say more? Incase you missed that it was point, click, repeat. THIS GAME SUCKS! I doubt the expansion will be any better. I guess if you are twelve and you get your rocks off by having super items and being able to kill anyone in the game then it's sorta fun, but where's the challenge? It took me ten minutes to master this game! I cannot say enough bad things about this waste of money.
