One of the few good RPG's out there

When I first started playing fable I was amazed how much possibility there was to forge your own destiny. Where one simple decision could alter your destiny for good or evil forever.

When you start out as a young boy who's village is burned, plundered, and the entire town murdered, you feel sorry for the boy as his life has been taken from him. From then on he is to become a hero.

As you embark on a long journey and make choices along the way you will forge you own personal destiny. With a well written storyline to back it up this game amplifies your freedom to forge your destiny.

this is a very good do anything u want game. be baad and treat ur evil side or be a good perosn and get a halo or horns. the choice is urs...

I waited for this game for almost 7 months. FIrst it was supposed too come out in july, but it didn't. I thought the wait would be worth it, wrong. I played it for 10 hours and i'm on the last mission. Also the missions are so ez and boring. Ull never have to try more than once on most missions. Also there are no puzzles like zelda and when there r they take 2 seconds too solve. THis game really pissed me off because i thought that it would be almost as good as zelda, and that it would be my number 2 xbox game(halo 2 #1)
Rent it, don't buy it

I too was anticapating quite an epic RPG. In my opinion Fable did not deliver. Its mediocre at best the graphics wer'nt all that stunning either. The game is very linear contrary to what the developer advertises. The world is very small, the NPC's are all super redundent, and the game play is very limited. The story doesnt help either...I've seen better stories in B-grade movies. Ill take any FF game or KOTOR of this in a heart-beat. I'd say rent it!!!!!!

I was disatisfied that this game showed up in a gamecube case. Seeing as its an Xbox game, thats not a good fit for it. It showed up with some minor scratches which im sure is due to the improper packaging. Other than that its playable and perfect!

Great game, great service but is cheaper at Best Buy

Fable is truly a very good game as far as RPG's go .. however i cant help but compare ever RPG game to Morrowind (Game of the year edition) this is by far the most in depth rpg ive ever played .. Fable could have been alot better had it not been so short.There wasnt enough side quests from the main story,but i do give the graphics 5 STARS.If you havent ever played Morrowind and like i RPG's i highly recomend it.humdreds of hours of play in this game.

Wait for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for XBOX instead...

What a waste of money...pretty graphics, but not as good as they should have been, and great music...stiff gameplay...more like the Sims really than a role playing action game...I enjoyed the good/evil choices much much more in Star Wars: KOTOR ....and I enjoyed the customization features in GTA:SA way way more than this lame duck!

This is the best RPG ever to hit the market. If you own a Xbox get this game. If you don't own an Xbox buy one then get this game. It is that good. This game is the things dreams are made of. Your dreams are life in this game. Want to kill everyone in a town? Go Ahead. Want to save the world? Go ahead. This game is one that should be remembered years to come. The only complaint I have with this game is that the boss battles are trivial. There is nothing special about them. Dodge Dodge Dodge attack. This is the basis for all of the boss battles. Besides this there is no beating this game.
