A true classic!

This game is blew me away! I didn't expect Ocarina to meet with my standards after playing the previous Zelda games. They usually go stale and predictable, but Ocarina didn't do that. It's a game for true fans of the adventure genre! The dungeons are long and perilous, there are numerous side-quests, a great cast of characters, and a large world to travel! If you have any doubts about this game, eliminate them. You won't be dissapointed!

Okay this game is good...

I can't believe any one would give this game less than 5 stars. It's unbelievably awesome. If you don't have this game I suggest you get it NOW. As far as I'm concerned this is the best video game ever made. Yet another masterpiece from Nintendo. Get it.

This is the best game ever. It's AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSOME. Ilike it because of the following: the graphics, the levels(especially Jabu Jabus belly), the characters and the side guests.

One of the Best Video Games of All Time

First off, this game is very good considering it had very good graphics (for an N64) and sound. Second of all, the storyline is the best I've seen in ages. The boy from the woods that no one knows becomes the Hero of Time... I would reveal more, but I do not want to spoil the game. Third, the gameplay and controls are easy to master, so you probably wont be swinging your sword at an enemy when you intended to throw bombs at it like games with complicated buttons. (; Fourth, the thing that makes Zelda, well, Zelda! The dungeons. The puzzles in them are chalenging and fun. The scenery in the dungeons (and everything else) is amazing. Fith, the enemies are unique and mystique, making the worlds you explore even cooler. Overall, this game is THE top must have of the N64 gaming system. ...

It took me about 3 weeks to complete this game the first time I played it, and it was worth every minute. This game has everything. Has a good amount of violence, with out all the blood and gore. It has the best story I have ever seen in any type of game and it is extrememly challenging, but it doesn't make you frusterated. I couldn't believe how addictive this game was just putting it in my N64 the first time. I couldn't stop playing. This game does a great job of making you addicted because it starts off with the easiest dungeon of the game so you can associated with the controls and some of the weapons and style of the game that prepare for the later rounds with some really hard bosses. The only disadvantage to this game is that it is difficult to find your place in the game when you turn it on to play again. You don't know what you have done or what you need to do and that is the only bad thing in this game. If you are planning on completing this game you must get a stratedgy guide because I believe it is impossible to complete the game you first try with out one. There are so many components needed to complete the game that with out the guide it is inevitable that you will miss many more then one of the components. If you have a good amount of time on your hands and you are looking for an amazingly fun, and time consuming challenge then this game is for you. Oh yeah I almost forgot. This game is much more then just the main story line, there over a dozen mini-missions and games and what not for you to complete so you don't have to be worried about getting bored with the game for a long time. Playing this game was a pleasure that every gamer should experience!

This game has swordfighting. Swordfighting isn't my favorithe thing to play and I dont like it but... This game is really fun! I like it because it's not disgusting and gory. I hate gory games. They scare me. This one has fun puzzles to solve and fun mazes to go through. I had a lot of trouble on the first dungeon. (The Deku Tree.) It was hard but I got through. This is an amazing game and you won't be wasting money. If you have gamecube, get the collectors edition because there are 4 zelda games in one plus a 20 minute demo of the wind waker.

Wow! This defines an adventure game! Everything about this game is beautiful!

Its been 7 years since i got this game. I played it through once and it seemed like i had played it for months.

With the Wii being out and the new Zelda game, i have become excited to play the Twilight Princess. Everyone has been talking about how closely it resembles Ocarina of Time. I have been playing my N64 alot these days and i popped this game in. I had totally forgotten all the memories i had of this game! I had my old game saved to the point of entering Ganon's tower and my god! It brought back so many memories! This game is truely amazing in every way! The music is so well done.

This game is on my top 5 favorites list, behind Mario 64 and Resident Evil 4

Face the facts, all these young gamers in the world do not know what it is like to grow up with a legacy on your TV screen. I do. Upon first playing of the OOT I found it to be quite exhilirating and as game play continued, I was reminded of the greatness of those that came before it. Yes, the game was a little difficult, but if you whine about how you couldn't get past the first level, either gain some skills or do not enter the arena with true gamers. If you did not play the original Zelda you will not do well with this one. This is by far the greatest Zelda of the series and I can't wait to see what the future hods. True gamers, you know what I mean.

The best of all Zelda games

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of my favorite games ever! I just love the storyline and the characters, even though Link, Ganondorf and Zelda have been in all of the Zelda games, but this game is the best. The original Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo was okay, but it felt like the game would NEVER end! I recommend this game to fantasy lovers who also love the idea of a super villan an action-ready hero. This is also one of Nintendo's classics. Everything a fantasy story needs is right in this game.

AWE-SUMMONING GAME!

This game is my favorite game in my collection. I used to have it for N64, but now I have the Ocarina of Time-Master Quest version for GCN! The game starts in a forest, when a young boy named Link (or whatever your name is, because you get to name him) is called by the Deku Tree. Then he has to go inside and try to free the Deku Tree of a great curse. Thus begins his adventure. In this game, you will go all around Hyrule (the land of Zelda, if you haven't played a Zelda game before) and enter "dungeons" which are sort of like long levels that you can save in the middle of. But dungeons aren't the only part of this game. You will have to explore the world (and there aren't separate worlds like in Mario, the whole game is in one huge world, even the dungeons) and do other things. This game has great replay value, too. Even after you beat the game, there's loads of side quests to do (like collecting all the pieces of heart, finding all the golden skulltulas, saving Epona [your horse] and much, much more!) Even if you complete all the side quests (which could take over a year), the game is so long you'll forget how to do everything, so you can play it again and again! Another great thing about this game is the storyline. This game wouldn't be half as good if the storyline were like most other games. In a lot of other games, they give you the story, you go through the whole game, and then you see the ending. That's it. In this game, however, it's like a book; the story slowly unfolds as you play through it. There are sad moments, happy moments, even moments that make you mad. The places in this game are so diverse, too. The game will take you up a volcano, into a living tree, under a graveyard, down a well, into a castle, under a lake, across a desert, and even into the belly of a whale! Overall, this is the best game ever! Good job, Nintendo!
