fast racing at its best

Star Wars Episode I Racer is a pretty good racer. It's almost as fast as the Extreme G games and its graphics and sound is great for a racing game. In most racing games, it's hard to tell where you have to go in certain races the first time you play it, but not in this game. The bikes look like they came right out of the movie and the voices that come from your opponents when you're passing them and making them look slow are cool. Unlike many racing games, Episode I Racer is not a breeze. The enemies will keep up with you most of the race and if you even barely touch a wall they'll pass you. The selection of tracks is good and the track layouts are imaginative and some are inspired by the movie. The 2 player option is also a plus, but being able to play 4 at a time would be better.

If you like speedy racers and you're a Star Wars fan, you should like Star Wars Episode I Racer.

I was skeptical when I first played this game, but it tends to grow on you. There are a few levels which are extremly tough, but after a few hours you can get the hang of them. Watto's shop is a hoot, and the level of gameplay is excellent. By far a must have for Star Wars fans and racing fans alike! Be warned this product causes lack of sleep!

My children love this game,it's challenging, yet fun.

This game is for more than one person player so it makes it fun for both my boys to race against each other or against the game. There is no violence in the game. It does help with eye hand coordination and is challenging to think quickly.

This fast paced thrill ride is an adventure for young and old alike. It is the most popular Nintento 64 video game in our home. The tournament style races allows a player to race and upgrade oveer twenty different vehicles to race on several race courses on 8 different worlds. The two player mode allows our family to race each other, increasing the bragging rights from intergalactic racing to our own home as to who is the best racer. To instructions are outlined clearly, and the joystick/button controls are logical. This simulation creates a fell like you are flying 3 feet off the ground against other opponents, but also makes the time fly by while you are piloting your pod to victory. Responsiveness of the video simulation is excellent, which makes this game a winner in our home. Try it and you will experience the trill of being an intergalactic pod racer for yourself.

Pod-Racing as real as it gets!

I just love this game, I got it for my birthday and it's the bomb. You can earn levels in a tournament and you earn money (not real money) so you can buy parts to make your racer better. This time take my word for it... I'm a kid, and I know fun when I see it.

"Star Wars Episode1 Racer" is a good racing game. It's based on the pod racing scenes from the Phantom Menace movie. You race in pods against some villains who will do anything they can to keep you from winning. The game's races are almost as fast, if not as fast, as the "Extreme G" racing games for the Nintendo 64. The game has great graphics, good control, and it's not too hard or too easy. I was real impressed with some of the lighting effects, the sound effects (especially when you come close to one of the other pod racers and they will say something to you in alien language), and the great, fast paced racing.

If you like racing games, and especially if you like the movie, I would recommend getting "Star Wars Episode1 Racer." The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it would've been better if you could play 4-player instead of just 2-player.

I can't say a enough about this game. The graphis are wonderful. It is very hard. It shows all the charcters in real life. It is like they are really walking. The pit droids are cool to. For all these reasons and a lot more this game is a have to buy.

If you hate racing games you'll love Episode 1 Racer. I'm more into adventure games but I'm an avid Star Wars fan so when I saw this I knew I had to get it. The first time I rented it I was hooked. I loved the fast paced game play, the friction less environment and the different tracks that were so original. One of the many great features of this game is the two player game play. I've played this game for hours with my friends. The only thing not so great about this game is that it doesn't come with an expansion pak. With the expansion pak it makes a big difference. Also, when you play in two player mode the screen is kinda bright. I reccommend this game to anyone, especially Star Wars fans.

This a great game if you enjoy racing games, however, that's all it is--a race game. It is basically the same as any other racing game.

This game is easy at first but some of the races are hard. The pods are great and the tracks are exciting. The graphics are great too. The game doesnt get boring very quickly and multiplayer is always fun.
