Next Best Thing To Pokémon Being Real

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 4 / 4

I got this game just a few days ago, but I know enough about the game to write a review.

This is basically a Pikachu voice simulator where there is no objective. Pikachu will respond to 200 spoken commands. The neat part is you actually use a microphone to communicate with Pikachu. Although there isn't necessarly an objective, but it's still as fun nonetheless.

The graphics are very detailed, and GCN quality. You can see each and every Pokémon in such clear detail.

Personally, I don't think that there is anything in this game that parents would find offensive. Yes, no violence, blood and gore, or anything else.

The music is so wonderful to hear, that you will won't want to shut the game off.

Although this game might seem childish... When you feel childish and little, here's a great game to help you feel wonderful! So just say "Hey you, Pikachu!"

Hey You Pikachu!: A Great Game

This is a great game! I haven't played it in three years because the renting store I got it from closed down. But I can remember lots about it, and can remember one thing that not many people discovered: You can make Pikachu use techniques! By saying, "thunder, Pikachu!" you can make him use electric attacks. You can't fight, though. In my opinion, you should buy this game.

Hey you pikachu is a fun game. I'm 9 don't like pokemon that much anymore, and I LOVE Hey You Pikachu. You get to talk to pikachu using a microphone, I havent played it for a while, because the mic got sucked into the vaccum...But I have another one comming my way! The Pinata Party one was really frustating because you have to talk realy clearly and at Pikachu's POV (Point of view)His/her Right might be your Left and Vice-Versa. On the picnic one you have to gather stuff to get a good stew. The first time, you can't move on your own and you can't pick up stuff. It gets better when you unlock other parts. Once you get more pikapoints, then you can buy stuff from abras shop. If you leave pikachu in the house for a while, Pikachu, (Like the little devel it is) will throw tissues everywhere. For me, I like having the room a mess. And then after a while, I tell pikachu to clean it up. Sometimes pikachu won't listen. If you gather food from the picnic part (In your bag), Some of it will appear in your garden. When you tell pikachu to ThunderShock a corn or potato, The corn will turn into popcorn, and the potato will be baked. Even though when pikachu has to leave back into the wild, you can still play with him/her, I cry...(I don't think that was nesscary to say...) The ending is cute though. Ovarall, I think this is the BEST game EVER!

Can you spell boring? I know I can, it's spelled Hey You Pikachu. Atari's Pong gave more entertainment. Well, if you like dying of boredom, get this game. If it was me, get a game that has more of a plot than Sesame Street.

It's awesome because you can talk to a computerized pokeman. It really listens to you. If you are a big fan of pokeman this is the right game for you.

This Game Is A Lot Like Seaman In Some Ways And It's A Must Have Cause It Has A Mic (Just Like Seaman) And You Can Talk To Pikachu And Pikachu Is Like Your Pet (Just Like Seaman) With Really Cool Powers It's Really Cool (Unlike Seaman) And Most Of The Pokemon Are On It And You Can Tell Him What To Do (In Some Ways Like Seaman) And It's In 3D (Just Like Seaman) (Well Not Like Seaman But That Is A Good Thing Cause Theirs More To See), You Get To Walk A Round With Pikachu And See Other Pokemon And Some Times They Fight And You Can To Talk Them And Their So Much To Do On This Game And You Even Get Pikachu To Fight Other Pokemon Like On The Cartoon And You And Pikachu Can Fish And (It's Not Really Like Seaman Cause He Has No Cartoon)(One Of The Best Pokemon Game's Ever)Really Good And I Know All Of This Cause I Played The JP.V Of The Game And I Speek JP To So... Any Way Pikachu Under Stands You Better Than Seaman Would Ever Not That I'am Dissing Seaman It's Just Sometime Well Most Of The Time He Dose Not Under Stand What Iam Trying To Say But Pikachu Is A Lot EZ-ER To Talk To PS:I Really Like The Mic Yea And Seamans Cool To.

This game is pretty fun. The idea of talking to pikachu seems pretty fun, but there has to be a point to this game. But never-the-less this game will keep you entertained for hours.

The Friend You Never Had

This game is great, addictive, unbelieveable fun!!! It's especially for little kids, but if you are a pokemon fan of any age, this game is right for you. I'm 13 and I still have trouble putting the controller down! Also, if you really want a pet, but can't have one, you should definitely pick up this game. The main point of this game is to form a bond with a young wild Pikachu that you meet early on in the game. By talking to Pikachu through the microphone included with the game, you can help it around obstacles the 2 of you will encounter during your daily adventures. These "adventures" include: making stir-fry with Bulbasaur in Ochre Woods, playing pinata with Venusaur at Cobalt Coast, and exploring the docks with Poliwag at Olivine Lake. Although somewhat crudely animated, the scenery in this game is BEAUTIFUL (I wish I could live there)! This game is unique from the other Pokemon games because the adventures are simple and could happen in real life. I would highly recommend this game to anyone, although boys would probably get bored with it more easily than girls.

Hey You, Pikachu!

I love this game. It's really nice if you want to take a break from games like Pokemon Stadium, for one thing, and it's also nice because you actually get to talk to Pikachu.
Unfortunately, he only recognizes certain words, but that's not such a problem.
In this game, you get to make friends with a wild Pikachu, and later he comes to live at your house. Then you get to have all these cool adventures with him.

There's only one problem with this game, and it is this:
To unlock a certain part of the game, you have to complete this one activity called "The Piñata Party". Unfortunately, it can be extremely frustrating, because Pikachu tends to not understand what you're saying, so he'll slip on a banana peel or hit the ground instead of the piñata and blow the whole thing, so you have to start all over.
I always have trouble with this part. On a few occasions, I eventually got so frustrated that I found myself yelling things like
"Go left! ...No, LEFT! ...I SAID 'LEFT', YOU LITTLE MORON!!!" but it was all worth it once I'd completed it.

Also, you can't give Pikachu a nickname in this game, but it doesn't matter at all. At least, not to me.

In conclusion, this game rules. 'Nuff said.
And it has an interesting surprise "ending" once you've accomplished a certain amount of tasks in the game.

A game where you can finally experience the real Pokeworld

I think this is an execellent and challenging game that should not be mocked, especially by those who already have it. I'm 12 and i still enjoy this game very much. This game is worth it's price. For all those fans who have ever dreamed of living and experiencing the real Pokemon world, this is it.
